Hey .... got a 1995 thru 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Transmission with 0 miles, cant figure out if its for a rs , gs, gst, or gsx, if anybody can host the pics please email me.

flywheel is a non modular set up.... and its alluminum.. doesnt need to be surfaced from what i heard its a fidanza flywheel

r u sure cuz i had a stage 2 spec clutch and that clutch was garbage... and im deff eiether goin turbo or nitrous soon

Will a stage 4 clutchmasters clutch ruin my stock transmission?i am gonna use poly urethane inserts for the motor mounts and a special trans mount that is 75 o n howell automotive

i have the spec clutch too and is competly garbage and im goin to post something in the n\t section

i would highly recommend Spec Stage 2 or 3 clutch....i love it stock feeling... grabs lovely... very harsh tho i have the stage 2 ... and when i redline.... all i have to say if u really want to do this i would recommend you make sure your motor moutns are very tight... and you use good...

Sounds like throw out bearing making the noise, and a shift fork throwing out of gear. When I had trouble getting into second, and when I got into second, tended to slip out. Opened the tranny and the shift fork was done. Just an idea

i have the 420a motor... they gave me the wrong clutch.. it has to be... because my sach clutch is all in 1 piece ( pressureplate, friction plate, flywheel).. then it bolts on to the flywheel....my spec stage 2 .... has the pressure plate and friction plate seperate?so do i have to buy...

i do have the wrong one.... can i just get the fidanza flywheel wil that fix everything?

how did u install it?i am so lost my sach clutch that was in there came in 1 piece all together..the spec came in 2...

idk i think its the transmission itself.. 2nd gear and reverse dont work anymore...all the synchros are gone too

yea i understand... what ur sayin.. its hard to explain... but where my gears are set up... where the shiffter is at.. its all messed up 1st gear goes far too in and makes a double in i can put it into 1st gear... then with more force itll go in again even more in

okay heres the story...my 2nd gear was bad.. it woul dgo in and make a grinding noise...anyways a month later.... guys idk what i did.. i was being dumb on the highway... well i was dion over 125 this is no joke tho this is serious... anyways... i had it in 4th gear .... i had 1 hand on...

dam i had the same problem with my 1st engine at like 78k.... could be the piston rings..... do not swap a 4g63.... my opinion clean it, stop dogging it, get rid of it.......

i dont see why not eiether... but sometimes the wire harness's can be diff idk...

will a 95 talon esi non turbo transmission fit on my 98 eclipse gs non turbo

:mad:blew my tranny i think.... i posted something a couple days ago on 2 problems... idk if its my clutch or tranny now... gearbox idkmy uncle said my tranny was about to be goneim driving 65 on the highway with my girl.... my gear pops out of only 3rd and 5th ....so i have to hold...

how do i adjust the clutch pedal.. if my transmission is hydrolic... and how do i bleed the system? i reallly dont know much...im going to take my tranny off and then take pictures on monday or tues... and u guys can tell me what could be wrong thanx guys i aprreciate it

thanx alot.... i woke up in the morning ... drove around a lil bit and the transmission seemed to make a lot of noise..... hopefully i can find one used around in the junk yards.... and i will tell my uncle to resurface the flywheel...

1998 mitz eclipse gs non turbomy 1st problem i had a stock clutch....and bad tranny....at first my transmission was bad, it rattled, it wouldnt go into 1st gear correctly, 3rd gear would make noises goin in .... i told my uncle who is the mechanic... he said i need another tranny...

im having the same problem... i put a new clutch centerforce dual friction it slipped on me.... its been a month... what could be wrong??? i think im leakin transmision fluid too.... trans makes noise... ughh this car im driving a 2gnt too... idk what to do.... my clutch grabs high on the pedal

prob your throw out bearing... if u hear it by the transmission

Need Help.... im goin to buy a centerforce dual friction clutch... it says i need to change the flywheel.... i have a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse gs.... non turbo... do i really have to tho?

i have it... its very easy to drive with that clutch... if ur only goin to do intake and exhaust mods only... if ur goin to do turbo dont even bother... dont race with it for like 1000 miles let it break in... believe me because if it slips...it happens once or twice....

okay my friends have checked out my transmissision.. they said the synchros are still good, the clutch grabs good, it must be something inside the transmission.... thats just makin it pop out of 3rd..... when i rev hard it comes out of gear... so what were goin to prob this weekend is open the...

yea, but im gettin help from my friends too... my friends say they put the wrong transmission fluid when they rebuilt my motor... .. ill get back to you guys thanx
