with airbags do they set you camber off bad and wear your tires because when you lay on the ground the tires boe out but if you raise it are the tires fine are will they wear faster
I put the eibach prokits on the back of my car today and soon as i was done pulled out of the driveway and went down the street and i hear a clunking noise in the back coming from the struts so i go back home and took off the plastic cover and rubber cap on top of the struts and the struts were...
I also have coilovers and Im getting prokits and was wondering if you need to put the oem rubber bushings that go on top of the stock spring on the prokit spring
Should you cut the fat end or the thin end? Also i have coilovers on my car and have them all the way up but it still sits between 1-1 1/2 inches lower than stock so how much should i cut off?
i can get the prokits for 185.00 and i can get the progress springs for 149.00.Wich one should i get that would look the best on a 2g eclipse with a body kit and 17's.I want a nice ride also, not a stiff bouncy one.prokits 1.2
progess 1.5
Wont they both settle lower than they say?
look in my gallery and tell me if it looks normal height for a eclipse with coilovers and i have them up as high as they can go.its about 3 inches off the ground.of seen other people with coilovers and when they put them up as high as they can go it sits like stock if not higher but mine looks...
what would be the best drop if i have a 99 eclipse with a body kit and 205-40-17.i have dropzone coilovers on and have them up as high as they can go and it still is low but i dont know how low it is from stock.i dont want it slammed i want it driveable
thanks alot for all of your help but the last thing i need to know is if i get the camber kit and get a allingment and in a few months get the prokits and tokico blues will i have to adjust and get a allignment done again?because the prokits are a 1.2 drop and my coilovers are all the way up...
with the shocks does it really matter if their say 5way adjustable or not?because of course the non adjustables like tokico blues are cheaper.and i saw you have neuspeed and im going to get rid of the coilovers so would you say i should go with eibach prokit or neuspeeds
i dont have a kit right now but was wondering about ingalls front and rear or sprint also sprint seems to have more adjustment than the ingals and the stockers ques yes:o
is the ingalls camber kit a good one it says the adjustment is from1.25-3.0 so do i set it in the middle between those two?by the way my car is lowered about a inch
how do you know how much to adjust your camber when installing a kit?also do you really need a allignment when your done because a shop said it would be around 400 buck to do a allingnment on a lowered car and that just seems crazy.
i have dropzone coilovers and was wondering what other kind of spring i can use with them or what other kind of coilovers i could use so i can have a longer spring.i have seen the skunk2 for dsms and that spring is long but all the others are short
how am i going to keep going through shocks with only one coil gone.before i cut off two and i was fine till i hit a speed bump real hard at my girls appartments. thos damn speed bumps!
i live in a big city and cant realy be flying around corners at 50mph so if i have stock springs and just cut one coil off isnt that fine? Before i got coilovers i had cut 2 coils of my stock springs and it was low as hell but road just like it was stock.so basicly my car i just show for now so...
how do you install a camber kit on a 99 rs elcipse?should i do it myself or take it somwhere?i have a sprint camber kit front and rear but no instructions
i have dropzone coilovers and i have them up as high as they can go and my struts arent blown and dropzone says 0-4 inches and with it all the way up it still sits 1 1/2 inches lower than stock does anyone else have this probelm with coilovers??and the rubber piece that goes on top of you stock...
i have dropzone coilovers and the coils(springs)are short and i know most any brand for a dsm is the same.my question is could i put the coils(springs)from another set of coilovers that a longer on mine?because the longer the spring the better the ride.
i have dropzones and the coils(springs)are short and small my friend has a 2000 civic and his springs on his coilovers are long and big.my question is well with longer springs like his civic has it rides better so can we get longer springs for our coilovers or could civic coilover work on...
i have dropzone coilovers on right know and they are as high as they can go but if i get my camber fixed and later decide to lower it with the coilovers for a show or something and then put it back up to where it was will that screw up my camber again?
