I would just expect to drop at least 1k on all new OE control arms, new hubs/bearings, new bushings all the way around at least. Shit, all my bushings were toast at 80k miles.
The adapter needs to be between the block and the stock starter plate. The kiggly plate is blank in the area around the starter. The dowels can be removed with vice grips, you wont be using the old ones anyway. I ground the key down on mine, I wasn't going to drill a hole in the flexplate. I did...
Okay well first of all that is the kind of fitment you get with aftermarket front bumpers, they just take a little extra work to make them fit.I would just add some spacers underneath the top lip (the one that has the mis matched holes) and that should pull the front up. Pretty self explanatory.
Mod last august they raffled the wheels off again, they also had tubs and tubs of these center caps, you could take as many as you wanted.OP these are real wheels that someone won from Factory MOD last fall. The hubcaps are hubcaps from a galant I believe.
If everything is put together correctly with the correct parts, he should not have to put washers to space anything out.OP are you using the correct starter? You never stated which starter you are using. Do you have the oem flex plate spacer installed?
The dowels are definately needed. the adapter plate itself is what, 1/4 inch thick? plus the starter plate, 1/8th inch?I'm sure Kiggly would sell you the dowels separately at a small price.
They arent talking about the flexplate, they are talking about the adapter plate that bolts to trans and 6 bolt block. It spaces out the trans so the torque converter doesnt destroy the trans pump.
Looks clean man, Idk why he didn't post up a picture of the engine though. Also I see he has a 2g in the garage so it could be possible that he isn't a complete dsm moron.
I bet you have the caps on the wrong way. The arrows should be pointed to the timing side of block with the "f" cap being closeset to the timing side and "r" being towards the main seal. With BOTH arrows pointing towards the timing side.
All you do is buy inch spacers (or however large your gap is) put washers on both ends, get longer bolts and call it a day. Easy. As for the plug problems, junk yard.
