I have a quick question my cousin is always telling me that if I get a front mount with it being a mitsubishi I HAVE to get it tuned or it wont run right, is this true? If I buy a punishment racing fmic will I have to get it tuned no matter what or can i drive it like normal? Thanks!
I don't know if you've seen this kit but it's through STM and it's a fuel tank to rail kit comes with everything you need to replace the line with -6AN
STM | 90-99 DSM FUEL TANK TO RAIL KIT

My guess is the distributor
I would check Sparks plugs first
wires also
check distributor maybe just replace it and double check timing to make sure its on point.
My buddies car was doing the same thing he replaced the dustributor and it runs like a champ now

So finally found out why my idle was going from 1000 to 1400 up and down back and fourth it was the idle control screw so im finally idling normal at about 750 woohoo:hellyeah:ROFL:D:rocks:
just need to replace my o2 sensor then i can smog it and register it and finally drive it and go rape...
ya thats what im sayin and it reallydoes restrict it alot but everytime i try to go to the junk yard and get them there all broken!! and ebays cost 200 and i just dont have that kinda money right now cause i gotta fix other shit and im lookin at buyin the punishment racing fmic for my car to...

ok so i fixed the IAC valve yesterday and i drove it home fine then today i went to start it and it kinda hesitated to start but once it strted it was in nuetral and although my tac does not work it the idle shot up way high like 4k and it was just staying like that so i shut the car off super...
so i replaced the IAC valve with a brand new one and its still idling retarted like so idk what it is could be a vacuum leak somewhere but howdo i check where vacuum leaks are?
so i sprayed carberaturfluiddown into the idleair control valve cause i heard you cando that to get rid ofclogbuild up but it didnt really do anything so should i replace the part inn full cause its like 80 bucks and i would hate to replace that if thats not the problem??
Ok so i have a 92 talon tsi i traded it for my old honda pretty much a steal
anyway the guy said he snapped a timing belt but had the head rebuilt cause it caused the valves to bend just fyi
anyway when the car is idling it sits there at like 1000rpm then goes up to 1500rpm then it keeps...
