its very possible that its your wires. but it could also be your chip going out. the steps i said above are to see if its your wires.just hope it is, thats a cheaper problem to fix.
you could go that route...
or you could go the cheap route and get a bottle of carb cleaner and spray your vacuum hoses with it. if there's a leak your idle will surge while spraying around the leak. not a 100% method but will definitely get you close.
i will give you the same advice, get a VOM (volt meter) and test the ohm resistance of your plug wires, check your spark plugs for gapping and junk building up. if those are not the problem then do a left to right or right to left top to bottom vacuum leak test. one of those is going to be the...
i would say to check DSM Graveyard, John is pretty good about getting you what you want. i have dealt with them a few times and never had any problems with them, quick service and accurate service.
sounds like it might be a slight vacuum leak, or a bad set of plugs, try testing your plug wires for their ohm resistance and make sure its near where its supposed to be. it so then do a vacuum leak test.
that seems like a solid buy to me, i want to get a 1G awd to build the hell outta.in the mean time i have my 2Gb and it is a monster. i have 80lbs compression~ all across the board and it still runs like a champ.
My reverse lights are sporadic at best, I've found that untill I actually have the time to chase the problem down that if I take it out of gear and then put it in reverse again it tends to work, sometime have to do it several times.See if your reverse lights may be the same way, if so then...
It attaches to the floor of the car in the feet area for the back seats.here is the link to the back seat floor pan harness mount I was talking about.

Not a good idea, just use your gvr4 untill you can fix the 92, it will sieze or blow parts out the side of the block if you continue to run the motor, and with the white smoke coming out of everywhere I would say your piston rings are now fried, possibly more, your going to end up bending your...
The belt is torn up because your alternator is going, this is on the 92 I take it. Best bet is to stop running it, its only going ti get worse. This is the start of the "bigger problems" I was telling you on your other post
Check the pm I sent you, that should be everything you need.Compression test on the old motor = waste of time.Knife-edging a crank is to reduce rotational mass for quicker RPM climbing revs. Its a waste of time unless your planning on racing the car... and you being in the part of california...
The price of everything will depend on where you shop and what kind of performance your looking for, I would suggest that you check out the vendors on here, I know for sure that DSMGraveyard is good business, John over there likes to make sure the customer is ordering what they want and they gwt...
This is what's going to cause you to spin your crank bearings, my advice is to just drain it and pull the battery out, because based on what you have told us so far I can garuntee you that the fluids are going to mix again so it would be a waste of your money to pour new fluids in just to see if...
I would say to stop running that enginge before more damage is done to it, just drive your other vehicle untill you have your build completed.
$130 for a block is dirt cheap, I would make sure to magnuflux it just in case it is damaged as well, build your new engine, drain the fluids out of the...
You can do it without the rain as well, just go to a empty back road, get going 30mph+ then smash the pedal, if you start sliding no ABS, if you just slow down extremely fast without any tires losing traction then you've got ABS
That depends entirely on the condition of the car.
Having a 16G, FMIC, and 2g intake manifold, I would personally say no more than $2000, but I'm something of a penny pincher when it comes to cars...
I would see if he is willing to take 2300 at most, that's a nicer price, its like a guy trying to sell a 97 spyder with the turbo setup torn out and front bumper off asking 2800 in my area, its just not quite worth spending that much to get a project.I have a friend pushing 370,xxx miles on...
Iif he thinks that then I. Would have to say that your dad is rather biases, they are great cars if you take care of them, just like most other cars can be.I mean no disrespect to your dad but I would say that after being a mechanic for that long he is most likely very biases to older domestic...
Cnat recomend any guns, but I can offer some painting tips.Make sure to start at the top and stay about 8-12" from your surface to prevent any "oraange-peel" effects or globing.
Work a nice long spray pattern that runs the length of the car if you can keep the speed consistant across that...
