That’s not a bad idea. Honestly I wouldn’t mind keeping them either. Which is why I’m thinking about refinishing them and installing. Other than gun metal I was leaning towards silver. though I’ve read gun metal was their least common color.
They’re not bad shape. Minor rash. But for 20 year old wheels I was impressed myself.I’ll look into powdercoating. There’s a few shops around here.so color change would be a big no no I guess?
I picked up a set of Rays Versus Campionato SS6 wheels up. I got them for cheap and am planning to to refinish them to clean them up to possibly re sell.
They’re not as desirable and other styles or fitments but I thought they would fit my “build” goals and I can keep my evo8 wheels too.my...
i guess they would work. just color match em with some dupli-color er something. keep a can cause the paints gonna flake off stretching and pushing the rubber around. post some pics if/when you do this. see what it looks like.
hmmm... interesting. only thing im worried about is how the plugs will look. 6 holes with color matched plugs, i can be tolerable if the color matching was good. might not look that bad if they were counter-sinked. i dont think the trunks thick enough tho.
what kind of plugs do you have in mind?

EBay Cat-Backs have proven themselves time and time again. I plan on buying from eBay later on... just make sure they seller has a good rating.I agree, running a 3in exhaust with step downs to 2.5in cats doesn't help out on the flow factor. You can have it installed like that until you have...
just the letters. usually everyone paints everything but the letters.
Tape the rest off i guess.
As far as paint. your goin to need high temp. aside from spay im sure how many options are out there.
i would pull the deck. i know there has to be spliced wires back there then. just find something with all the wire colors/codes. and make sure everythings ok. maybe something just came loose. if nothing less you could probably get that bazooka workin again.
do you have an aftermarket radio?
when i was puttin in a new deck there was one wire that i had wrong. at first i had put it to the remote and the lights wouldnt turn off... then i put it somewhere else and it wouldnt turn off....
anyways check behind your radio.
this happened to me on my...
Sunroofs are always an option. Its just an extra cost, but for the mostpart i think most turbos came with em anyways. Also most 2G GS's ive seen got a sunroof too. The packages probably sold better. And the price could have likely been marked down to match those without a sunroof anyways.
But i...
looks sick. i love the simplicity of the 1g. i would say custom tho. im sure you can make you own. or search in the the vendors to find an AC VENT GAUGE SET, AND/OR a RADIO BEZEL GAUGE SET.
