I went with t he stage 2 2.4L with all the extras / goodies, no core for $4300

MAP got it done!!!! short block ordered and it was IN STOCK!!! stage 2 at that so were gonna be pushing some serious power here

Apparently whoever built it literally FORGOT to put it in... starved the engine and boom.. Pistons and all are shot

$15k complete rebuild... apparently the car was built and they forgot the oil regulator.... so it's shot shot and it's about 15k for a full rebuild

Wellll found a shop / Tuner for our cars semi local, this way I can get it repaired AND finally tuned (because it needed that even if this DIDNT happen) its being picked up Tues by the shop

Forgive the "Dumb" questions but im coming from the Vette / Viper / Mustang world. If a well known shop with alot of good reviews screwed up timing this thing to where it jumped and bent valves in a few hundred miles at most, is it just THAT hard to time these things???

You know what, come to think of it.... I dont remember if there was fuel as well... it was dark (3am) hmmm, oddly there is no fuel pressure gauge in the car, A/F gauge but no fuel pressure.So when your wire from your fuel pump relay came loose it had a rapid crank over? (which scares the HELL...
