I checked all the cables and everything. Watters actually got inside the car so there is no interior either. I've read water can get to the clutch or flywheel?
I have a 1990 gsx, the streets were flooded after I had gotten off work. I had to drive home one street was dark. Didn't notice the almost foot of water. I went through and lost first gear. The car stalled I didn't think about it cranked it over. Wouldn't start. Got it out of the water it...
I did use vice grips to turn it, I got a turn in and my head hit the clutch pedal and it dropped to the floor, the master is a tad leaky. Should I bleed the system first? I ordered the slave and the master but this car is my daily so I need it to drive relatively soon.
My transmission was a little notchy before, wouldn't go into gear (first reverse) sometimes. I watched the jacks transmission video and tried adjusting the push rod, before I did so the car was drivable and shifted the clutch had good pressure and travel. After, adjustment, the clutch when...
I have a 90 gsx, it's -7 where I'm at. I got off work and cold started my car. It almost wouldn't start, when it fired up it idles extremely low, around 400-600. After 35-45 seconds it jumped to about 2000. Usally cold start it's about 1200-1500. When it was at full operational temp it idled at...
Yeah, I noticed when the car is off it shifts perfectly smooth a little clunky but way better, just curious wouldn't that be kinda harsh on the car? To Rev that high.
The slave and master are good, I took it to a transmission shop and they said there is nothing I can do that it was a notchy unit, I believe there has to be something to help.
I have a 5 speed gsx, my shifting is notchy. Takes a couple tries to get it into first, very notchy into second, third, fourth, and fifth are fine. Reverse takes a couple tries as well. I was wondering if solid bushings for the base and cables. Maybe new fluid. It was changed a little under a...
I was told that I need slim fans because my stock fans won't allow the intercooler piping to fit right. Is there a way to make them work with the front mount?
I found out where it was leaking, I may try another wire style clamp and if that doesn't work, see if the radiator is damaged. If I have to replace it that's an excuse to buy an aluminum one.
I found a small coolant leak on my lower radiator hose nothing serious, it was the old wire style clamp. I had a new adjustable band clamps so I put one on, with in a week it leaked all the coolant out. I'm not sure if the indentation from the wire style are making it so the band clamp can't...
