New pistons came in. You can really tell the old ones needed to go. Trying to stay budget friendly so not OE so hopefully I’m not paying for it in the long run.
Been awhile since last update. Machine shop is drowning in big block projects but shout out to area machine in Denver. Got me a cleaned up block with a new hone. Now on to parts, parts and more parts.
Getting the block checked and cleaned pretty sure this is it’s first re hone along with a crank polish. Any suggestions on budget friendly pistons and rings? I heard always go OE on the oil pump but I heard mixed reviews on aftermarket pistons.
