I had to deal with some bullshit like that. I was the last house on a dead end street. Across the street from me was a drainage pond. I had a jetta that the water pump had locked up and slung the timing belt on me and of course bent the valves. So i parked it on the curb in front of my...
Sadly bro but something is def screwed up. It's not all there fault IMO because if it was me I would of been watching what was going on instead of sitting in the truck. To mean to sound like a dick but you should o made sure the driver was aware that it had to be on a flatbed. The insurance...
the last picture shows the light coming in around the valve because its not seated. Thats the #3 intake side.Im going to do the fluid test tonight. Hopefully i can pull the funds together and buy mikes head. That would def be the better bet for me to do. but i do have a block im going...
So here is a pic of the intake side of the head. Some valves are not seated and I'm not sure if any are bent.

Gonna disassemble the rest of the head and see for any other damage. I'm also going to pull the rods/pistons out and check the rod and main bearings.
So I picked up a complete engine late last year and was planning to just drop it in the car n get it running again. Well I finally got the space to do it all so I get the motor on my stand and was going to put all my accessories on the engine before I installed it into my dsm. Well while it was...
I'm also not a big fan of the hood. There's not really any aftermarket hoods for 1g's that I think look good. And I would do something about that wheel gap. Get rid of the 4x4 ride height. Lol. But other than that the car looks pretty food
If you Go look at the car just look it over real good. Wouldn't hurt to take it to a reputable shop and have them check it out. With dsm's maintenance is key to their reliability. You take care of it and it will take care of you.
Its an hks knockoff so u would need to select an hks flange when you order. You won't need that flanged pope it comes with bcuz of u get the fmic kit you would just attach this bov to the flange on your intercooler piping
Well you have a stock maf. So u would select stock. And u said you gonna be getting an aftermarket bov. So whichever bov you decide to run with you would select that wether its tial or hks or whatnot. You can even use your stock bov
This is just my personal opinion but I don't really trust eBay shit. I feel a lot of the shit on there are very cheaply made and when you want performance and reliability cheap is not better. This is the route I would go when it come to a fmic. I'll be running their 1g kit. Plenty of people on...
Have you done a leakdown test? How did everything look when ou had the head off? Did you replace the other valve stem seals or just the two that needed replacing?
Link is dsm link. Which is what you would tune with. And also like previously stated make sure all you maintenance is up to par especially the timing belt.
