Every engine bay screams out for an LS motor. Whether they know it or not, they all want an LS in there.Which is part of what makes this one cooler.

FJ is focused on Domestic.I would say to go with J S or TPG. Either way you'll be with people who specialize and are much more familiar with the DSM lineup.

Just paint them... if you ruin them, you can always have them powdercoated or re-painted the original color. If they are in "like new" condition, then it will be easier to refinish and more likely to turn out well...

Well, I was able to make good use of the time... I ran a cable line to the garage and mounted a tv above one of my Tool Boxes...Hope I can keep some time clear for the next one... at least I didn't miss it for my own fault!

I would get that shock off first and see what you have left to deal with.If memory serves me right, there is a sleeve inside the rubber which the bolt was holding in... I don't know that removing the rubber will help you as much as drilling it out.

All you are going to find are white ones (or solid painted ones). The hood as well as the pinstriping around the car would have been done by an owner. If you like it, buy a hood and have a body shop spray it.

If the pin came out of the auto tensioner, just place it in a vise crank it down and re-pin with something else. Assuming it was a new tensioner. If it wasn't a new one, then yes replace.I had a problem where the timing belt jumped timing drastically, and assume it was from being improperly...

There is an illumination wire in the radio harness, so that your switches and knobs light up when you turn the radio on.If that wire accidently catches ground, it can blow out the fuse for the lights. Hence no lights...Sounds like you got a quick easy fix, clean up the wires behind radio...

I was having the same problem, until I changed the shift linkage bushings. When I pulled the one out, it was already worn out to the point where it came out in pieces. I would recomend to pull them out and check, if they are worn any bushing replacement will help.I was skeptical, but hadn't...
