Check the wiring harness there is another plug identical in look/length on that side of the motor and is easily mistaken for one another if the head has ever been removed.Hope this helps?
Just FYI i was wondering around the local junk yards and figured out all the 2001+ Mitsubishi's with a 5 speed have the weighted knob. i picked me up a couple why i was there, just saying.
this is the one I got, its hooked up to some kenwood speakers and I think its sound good for what it is. Kenwood KDC-352U (KDC352U) In-Dash CD Car Stereo Receiver w/ USBThis one is a good choice and it also has sub preamp outputs if you add a sub later on Kenwood KDC-248U (KDC248U) CD, MP3...
That hu choice is decent, good sound quality basic features like one set of pre outs and basic 3 band eq. Kenwood in the same price range may have a better 7 band eq and sub pre outs with good sound quality also if your shopping at best buy.
Check for rubbing on the case at the a/c tension pully and harmonic balancer, they tend to rub at these places commonly. You can also press down on the timing belt between the cams nice and hard, if you can get it to move a cam or make a clicking noise the tb tensioner could be bad.
ewww nice, check your timing belt tension er, my made a similar bearing noise when it went out and it also sounds like a the belt is rubbing. Is there visible wear on the belt anywhere yet?
my car was doing the same thing , after 3 weeks the slow leak turned into a good squirt.....it turned out to be the slave letting go! Check your hydraulics and good luck yo.
I've had this same issue with my gsx twice, once it was the CAS and the other time it was a failing ECU. You might want to check those out and oh, when my Cas was causing these problems it was in the wires coming from the sensors
Have you tried pumping the clutch with the slave cylinder attached to try and push it off with the hydrolic system, this has work for me in the past, even with a cable clutch?
Yes that carrier bearing looks to be shot out and from the pics its got enough play you can clearly see the drive lines not centered in the bearing. I bet that's whats causing that horrible vibration when under load going up an incline.

176,000 0n my 90' gsx and just 3 days ago (only owned car just over 1 1/2 years) I was changing out my plug wires and discovered they are the original factory wires :ohdamn: and they still work fine WTF
I have had the Mishimoto in my 2gen and current 1gen, for the price I'd have to say it is an excellent radiator. Good build quality, good welds, no leaks, and has added almost 1 gal. capacity to the cooling system:thumb: I've ran these with no issues for over 2 years (stock hp levels:() and very...
I have seen cheap parts store wires fit like this before. The gap leaves space for oil/water or debris to get into the spark plug wells, not a good thing. Can you push them down anymore and they just pop back up, like they are worn?
Its a decent clutch really. The XTD stage 1-3 have the stock PP but the stage 4 defiantly uses a heavier pressure plate. :thumb: This is the next clutch i will be putting in my car also:D
First check all your hoses and the thermostat could be stuck closed. Is coolant flowing at operating temp, water pump working? This would be a good place to start, good luck :thumb:
I would feed it from the head. I had mine running from the OFH at first but it was too much pressure, it was pushing oil past the seals. I switched it back to the head feed and all was good:hellyeah:
