Yes, with the way this kit is designed you do need to get that J pipe. not necessarily a vrsf one its a bit pricey, i ordered one from punishment racing and it was here with in 2 days of me ordering it....just needs to point towards the drivers side and go between the fan shrouds.

Yes the cylinder that isn't firing is getting spark. The car isn't leaking coolant and there is no mixture of coolant and oil so don't worry about that it's just steaming and that's why I add the distilled water just to be safe. It's not alot just a little to top it off

Nope wasn't the isc.........although I am suspecting that it's going bad. The problem was what I stated in my first post. The car was low on fuel and being parked on a slope and being so cold outeverything added up. I got some fuel in it and let it run for a while and everythings good now
