Thank goodness! I have nothing, but respect for him. Him running off was the least of my worries.I just seen he hasn't been on in a while, which was very odd and strange. He was on here daily always helping:thumb: I figured something bad might have happened.
Glad he's doing well!
Has anybody seen or heard from bogusSVO? I have been trying to get in touch with him for about 2 weeks now. I have called his shop with no avail, just a busy tone. I've seen he hasn't been on tuners since the 14th of last month.
I'm just hoping all is well with him. Any info would be great...
Check for a missing bolt in the back of the block. Im not sure what was there, but I was missing it. After a while it spewed oil out on to my front subframe.
I have evoIII 16g for ya! It has some shaft play. Very minimal In and out and side to side. Needs a rebuild which isn't hard to do yourself. 300 and its yours
I drained it awhile back and it had a little metallic sheen to it. I figured the owner before me never changed it.
The tranny didnt do this before the motor spun some bearings. It sat or about a year. Then finally got all put back together and this is the sound it makes in second gear.If i...
Yes i did plastigauge mains and rods. They both came out to be. 003. They didnt fit loose when i installed them.I also checked the mains. They came out to be in great shape. Well besides a couple marks hear and there from bearing material.I took the bearing cap with the bearing to my...
okay finally got to checking the rod bearings and they are showing sever wear. Bearings did not spin ,but show gouging. Also some bearings fit loose in the rod bearing cap.None of them had any abnormal movement, so im not sure if that was the ticking sound.
Mine definitely sounds like its coming from the timing side or behind the right side of the motor. Which led me to believe it was the stubby shaft. Other than that im clueless. I hope somebody has some info here.
I just rebuilt my motor and thats the exact same sound im getting. Only mine comes from 2.5k rpm I pulled the oil pan and found very little shavings like your but just a few. Im thinking it might be the stubby shaft backing out. Im gonna verify that in a couple hours
Yea u do have a real tiny leak but it was better than the stock one pouring it out. Im thinking its not draining fast enough and choking up. I will see if i can get a picture of the hole. Its a alot smaller
I just got the same kit, works really well. Now im just having a problem with it not draining fast enough. I seen the ends of the fitting were alot smaller than the openings. Could you possible make it bigger without any effects?
I have two evo propsoprt gauges (oil pressure, water temp) and i have no clue on how to wire these things up.The most that i read on here is how to give them power but not how to wire the sensors in to the gauges. Also where is a good place to tap for water temp sensor?Any help...
^^^ im with this guy! I no nothing about wiring. I got the prosport evo gauges ( oil pressure, water temp) and dont have a clue on how to wire them up. I've read many threads and still puzzled. I have a couple questions. How does the sensor work if the gauge and sensor dont match up the the...
I'm having a little bit of a dilemma here whether to replace them or letting them be. Its either OEM or solid bushings for the front. The rear you can get OEM, poly, or solid. I have already spoken to a member on here about solids and It would be a month wait on them. This will be for a daily...
NO! a gasket is required. Do not cheap out on something that important. There's quite a bit of vendors on here that have it and can be shipped to you in a couple of days:thumb:
I didn't want to start a new thread, so I decided to post here.
I'm in the same boat. I really can't decide on which bushings (OEM or prothane) This will be a daily driver so I'm not looking for solid beings bushings. Thanks!
Okay im just not sure if this is normal or not, but i just received my NEW ACL tri-metal main bearings. I noticed that the top bearing in the package has a heat spot. Is that common with these bearings or did i just get a bad set? Thanks :thumb:
