yep, as you know, i'm just returning to stock. So just open to different options. I haven't heard from some of my old school BA DSM buddies yet. I'm sure ONE of them would have a part I need, here and there. Just need to gather them together.
If anybody has some old stock parts lying around... I'm looking for the following:1G MAF
1G bov return tube
2G exhaust mani
1G AWD catback exhaustThanks.
I like realistic asking prices. Sellers need to accept the fact that you will be lucky to get 40% of the cost of aftermarket parts back from the sale of your car. If I was in the market, I would consider yours.
What he said! :thumb:Oh man, it took me 5+ trips to the smog place to pass on an out of state car. He looked under my car (my subie), but I had already put EVERYTHING back to stock. See if you can pass the tail pipe first and foremost. Worry about the visual later. Worst case scenario =...
Cali is going to the OBD2 tests for 2000+ cars next year. I figure it must be easier to pass if you are not throwing any codes. Hope it's the same as you say. I know the smog tech looked under my car. I've been to the smog station 10 times in the past 2 months (3 cars needed smog and 1 out of...
agreed. :DMaybe he needs to learn the above on his own. so Let the man sell it for what he wants and just help him out and wish him luck... can lead horse to water, can't make him drink ;) yadda yadda...
It's pretty hard to justify a high asking price for used DSMs even modded ones as clean as yours so you should lower your expectations. It's not an MR2 or Supra, which holds its value. I sold my MR2T for more than I paid for it after 3 years of ownership. I couldn't give away my 2G DSM, nobody...
I have these Kazera KZ-R's in 17x7 and 215/45-17's that I might be interested in trading... I think 18.5lbs each.Kazera KZ-R picture: 52410 - Top SpeedOh, i forgot, i have pic of the rims on my car in my profile.
Did you lose weight? :D or finally learned how to launch a DSM? :applause:Now that you mentioned it, i do have a 3" catback for a 2G FWd i believe. The middle pipe is fine, but the rear axle back for smushed from a rear end collision. I think I can use that muffler if I just straighten the...
I don't need loud ass bleh. I had to replace the catless downpipe on the subaru with a catted one because it was TOO LOUD. I just prefer a little more rumble on the GST.
After driving a 3" catless turbo-back (my subie) for the past month, I've got the feeling that my 91 GST is TOO quiet at times so, if anyone has anything muffler, axleback, catback) that make it even a little louder, please let me know. I don't mind if it's slightly larger than stock diameter...
Whaddap, my lil grass hoppa! How many people can say they went up the wrong way UP Lombard St.!:hellyeah:And I still have all the original t-shirts, posters, from dsm.org. 1g dsm, 2g dsm, and dsm calvin pissin on a honda emblem, eagle talon key chain fob, and I think i still have a...
stupid simple question, how do I swap the pins out? I'm not sure where to stick the little jewelers screwdriver to release the clip or whatever? Anyone got any pics, showing where I should be sticking the screwdiver? Thanks
Good luck. I passed mine yesterday.I keep wondering if would be easy to swap VINs with another car... if say you have 2 exact same cars, one won't pass smog and one will, just swap the VINs and go get it smogged. hmm....
HAve you tried the "pass smog" additive? I have tried rubbing alcohol with success.. hehe... I'm in the same boat, trying to pass smog on a car that has been sitting for 3 years. I think I've got it nailed down so going to try again this weekend.
