UHH....WOW sorry dude I havent been on here for a while i wasn't "bumping my thread on purpose. I'm not used to the new set up on here. The guy said all he would give for it is 3,000
I was kinda hoping the classafieds were gunna be open because i know i could get someone that respects the car to buy it.I really don't want to get out of the scene but time and money just dont permit. Which sucks.
Nah the body is in very good shape and the interior is well almost mint. I think the guy is probably gunna want to do like 3500 and I dont kow if im kosher with that.I was kind of hoping the classafieds were gunna be open i know i could get somebody that appreciates the car selling it here.
Ok I dont know if im posting this in the right spot or not so sorry if im not.I have a 1998 GSX you can check my blog or garage for pics but im trying to sell the car. The motor is taken apart and by apart I mean the cylinder head is off, the pistons are out and the crankshaft is still in...
I plan on going with eagle rods and weisco pistons. Right now the build is on a halt, my truck i got which is a 1992 chevy silverado K2500 3/4ton with a 6.5l turbo diesel is getting some new tires new wheel cylinder and brake shoes.
No I want to stick with this block I'm trying to save a little bit of money but if i do have to pull the block I might aswell just do it becuase everything else is already disconnected haha.
Ok guys I just pulled the truck home in my father inlaws Chevy 2500 HD which is quite the beefy truck itself. Waitng on some batteries to start the beast up they said the brakes were bad but they feel decent when the truck is off I'm waiting to see if they feel anybetter when I get her started.
Freshen everything up and put a little intake on it to let it breath better and there was sumthing else that I saw on a deisel performance site but I'm not looking for speed but something to use to pull the dizzum when I hit the track up or if i evern need to pull someones house down. ahah
It had a new motor put in it from GM as I said my grampa owns a hog lot and it was worked very hard so when the other motor went they just dropped a new one in it.
Ya mine was to untill I picked up my big mother of a truck take a look at my other thread. It's calld my new dd not so gas freindly or something along those lines.haha
Ha Ha you should see the back bumper its like 3in thick steel haha with two ball hitches on it. If anybody needs they house pulled down let me know it has 190Hp 500ft tq or sumwhere in that range. haha.
I used the same gunmetal paint on mine but mine are on a red car and they are bangin. I to used the normal clear coat and they came out ok. Did the paint look thick or kinda clumpy when you look at it real close.
Well guys here is my truck, it's a 1995 chevy 1500 with a 6.5L turbo diesel with 50,000 miles. It just had a new motor dropped in straight from GM. My wifes grandpa gave it to me he owns a hog lot and it was a hard worked truck but whatever it will get me to work while the DSM is being rebuilt.
Then maybe thats something we should let them handle between themselves. Either way I'm done with this thread have fun everyone. Hope I didn't ruffle any feathers in here.
Yes he isn't owning up to it but, tell me this what are you personally going to gain from this if he does man up and admit it???? Thats what I'm trying to get across, it's not like I'm going to sleep better tonight if he says "Everyone I posted a pic of someone Else's car and said it was mine"...
I'm sorry guys but I'm finding this rather irritating. Everyone sees the name of this thread and is probably saying to them selves "Yes I get to go talk some $h!t to someone I don't even know." There are alot of things that haven been said in this thread and established like 2 pages ago and we...
How you build your car is going to be completely up to you. With that said, ask your self do I want a DD or do I wan't a Bad Ass street machine that is going to own at the track or a little sumthing sumthing inbtween.
Yes we have established that now lets move on. It seems like people are just jumping in here and posting to get there one last flame before it gets closed. Just grow up and be done with it.
I'm sorry are you talking about the exhaust manifold if so it's holding up great and it's helped out with spool up,if you're talking about the intake mani its the stocker which I'm sure all can tell. I'm pry gunna be selling my 16g setup with the manifold, I thought the turbo was screwed but...
That question has been asked many times before as said just lock the thread and end it and then everyone can move over to my blog about my engine tear down!!!!! That should cheer people up.:thumb:
Woops double posted the site was running kinda slow for a bit. Anyway I just got done removing all the pistons and the cross hatch is very noticable and there is no scoring or anything so I'm gunna be keeping the stock bore and getting some 9:1 weisco pistons. Bassically all the work is done...
Ok awsome I was kinda concerned. What go you guys think of the tops of the pistons???? should they look like that??? I'm assuming maybe becaue the have 65,000 miles on them but ya.

Ya it real and look on ebay they make recirulation fittings that go in there, you just remove the little fins and replace with the recirc tube. I bought one for mine and it works great.
Ok here are some more pics guys. I couldn't quite make out what the top of the pistons said but I do know that they were burnt to hell and it looked like it had some chunks of charcoal on the top. Now onto my valves, why in the hell are my exhaust valves bright orange???? Maybe thats a stupid...
Definitely listen to this man he helped me through alto when I thought my went out,he had alto of information and was super nice about every stupid question I asked.
Here's some more pictures, there not going to be in any kind of order but they will show after the intake manifold has been removed, the exhaust manifold has been removed ,valve cover and then some useless vacume lines.
Ya I have another mode of transportation. I'm taking my sweet time with this I want it perfect. Plus my buddy that is helping me has done it before so he is my guru at this point. I took some more pics tonight will have them posted up in a few.
Ha Ha well man, it has turned into a full on build now the wifey said I could go get a 2500 dollar loan and get myself some parts. So the plan is to remove the head get stock bore weisco pistons with a 9to1 ratio and some eagle H-beam rods,272 cams,50trim or 20g not sure whats gunna work best...
