I have been contemplating purchasing one of their harnesses for my 2g. I like that fact of brand new wiring and connectors to hopefully eliminate wiring issues down the road. I think I may buy it after the holidays. How long did it take to receive it?

He did show me a block that he broached. It looked shiny, but you could see the cut marks on the deck. It was pretty smooth, but your finger nail would very lightly feel the cut marks if that makes sense? Should I have him try to set it up on his milling machine that they use for heads?

It seems everyone runs the Manley Turbo Tuff I beams, but they also appear to be the heaviest of the rods as well. I think I may give the Olivers a try. I am assuming I can't go wrong with any of these choices though.

Bought this and was told it is an HX40. There is no tag on it and I can't seem to find much with Google. Is it a legit Holset, and is it a legit HX40? I measured the inducer at 59.97mm. I have called numerous Holset distributors and not one can pull any of those numbers up in their system.

That is the exact same thing I did for the car pictured above your post. I left my name and number on the windshield and a couple weeks later he called and said he would sell it for $4k lol. Three months later he called back needing money and I picked it up for $400.
Rock auto doesn't sell OEM parts though. Mitsparts.com is by far the cheapest for OEM parts. I do try to support JNZ Tuning a lot as well though. Either place has been great in my experience.
I am in the same boat, my 97 GSX has supposedly not ran since 2005 and I am pretty close to getting her finished up. Not quite sure what I am going to do about the tank though.
