HKS 264 cams would really compliment a 16g, great mid range. Stock cams should be fine for your goal though. I don't see the need for head studs either. Beautiful car btw.

The fastest I've seen run around here was a 13.9, the guy had a act 2100, 1g bov, and stock exhuast! He is a really good driver though.

I've read Maximum Boost, that book is filled with gobs of great info. Corky gave me the impression that the top to bottom intercoolers were generally better. Most of the really high hp cars were all running top to bottom ic's.

The way the endtanks are on that IC would obviously create a presure drop making it less desireable, anyone can see that just by looking at it. The air from the turbo is supposed to be guided in the ic as smooth as possible. Unfortunatly on a ic that large you don't have much of a choice but to...

After I installed my act 2600 and spool center diff I noticed a leak in my tranny. I pulled the T-case off and the output shaft seal was leaking tranny oil! My ? is do I have to pull the tranny out again to put in the new seal, or is it possible to do it with the tranny in the car yet? I have a...

No, you don't need one, but you could gain a little hp with it. Check out Ryan Dao's car on the sight in my sig. I don't know if his mods page is updated but he used a s-afc with simular mods as you to get to 13.0 # 103. He also has a 14b. I'll see if I can get him to comment on this for you.

I have the DSM-P FMIC and like it alot. It's priced decent at $599 but you do have to make your own pipes which is kind of a hassle. I am sure they will have a piping kit for the 1g's soon though. I'll see if I can get some pics up for you too see, or just go to there sight and check out there...

I think 1g's are better off left alone. Besides the faster your car is the cooler it looks, for instance look at John Sheperd's car, looks like a clean ordinary 1g(from the outside), but as soon as you see it rip off a 9 sec 1/4 mile pass it magically seems to look way cooler. Just my opinion.
