I went a couple times on the last Sunday of the months, didn't see anyone cept for a couple of kids in one eclipse. The site hasn't been updated in a while and the bulliten board is down as well. Some have been using a DSM parts supporting site to chat: https://www.rtmracing.com/forums/ .
Lets set a firm time and date for everyone to meet so that this actually happens, sometime in mid-summer that should be more than enough time for whoevers coming to book time off work, make sure their car is runing :D, etc .
I was lucky enough to pick up a set via EBAY before they were discontinued. I was still hoping to buy a second set as a spare but have had no luck so far.
There should be a location by now..... doesn't seem to organized. I would be willing to go if there was a definate place and time confirmed. I just don't want to book time off work and loose pay for this whole "meet" to flop at the last minute.
Gee thanks thats my car. They are actually discontinued so you won't be able to find them using "EBAY|". I actually have 2 used sets (bought 2 because of rareness) and found them through kijiji. Hope this helps!!
The line converter will work, however it will give really poor signal and you will not have proper sub control. Its a nice HU over all but switching to another unit with triple pre-outs may be a better decision in the long run. Hope this helps!
OBX makes a decent header package. I ran it for a couple years on my old Talon, worked pretty well. I purchased it off of EBAY, cost around $360 CAN including shipping at the time.Cheers!!
Sounds like the good ol "click of death"!! If you do not want to repair your ECU yourself, check out Motoguy's Garage they sell quality ECU's for a reasonable price or they could repair yours as well.
You need to purchase K&N's filter cleaner/oiling kit, they run between $20-40 depending where you find it, keeps the filter in good shape. They claim the filter should outlast your car with proper maintenance...I'm not sure if I would keep one that long though..lol.
As long as you are running an aftermarket head unit with "Pre-Outs" there is no need to tap into speaker outputs, as you can use the pre-outs to add an amplifier. If you do not have and aftermarket head unit you will require a "Line Out Converter" which ties into a ground and rear speaker...
Unreal. First I've seen of this car, definately belongs in a museum and not in the hands of a 16 year old (no insults to the owner), Def. needs to be kept stock and stored away. As mentioned prior it is 1 of 1, it is unique and there is no other like it. To mod this car would be an absolute...
Never recieved an email, I'm more interested in using this site as I find it more "user" friendly for a "newb". I was hoping some local DSMers would be on this site as well.
That is another site all together, and it seems if you do not have a ".org" email you cannot sign up there at all :banghead:. I was hoping for a Toronto sub-forum on Tuners.
Go to "My Account" at the top of the page, then go to "Edit Avatar". From there you can select the second option and upload a picture of your car from your computer. Hope that helps.
I've been to multiple dealerships in Ontario and haven't had much luck finding any window trim. I have checked MACH V, Ebay, etc. Any advice as to where else I could find any new. Thanks
Window weather stripping (under door windows), always seems to peel on 1G's, only place I could find was MACH V but they were NLA. Would be nice to get some new ones!!
I've already been by the "Yorkdale Mall" meet, no one even showed up, except for a couple kids not even in a DSM, wasn't too impressed. Is there somewhere else that you know of other than where I just mentioned? Thanks
Hi everyone, my name's Brandon and I'm from Ajax, Ontario Canada. I've been on here about a year now and have never posted as I have been reading up alot. I have a 1993 Eagle Talon TSI fwd that I have just purchased in the last year, but this has not been my first DSM! It has already come along...
