Find yourself a hand grinder and start opening that stuff up. Do that before you buy a new turbo. Find a full 3in exhaust from the back of the turbo and remove the cat. Might not add a ton of power right away but it's worth it

If you do, i would highly suggest porting it, along with the o2 housing and exhause mani. That will give you the quick spool-up and higher rpm power.
