GM is so far off target. Why would a company waste so much money making as many boring slow cars as they are. Maybe BMW should take ownership and battle it out with DCX/Mercedes.
I can't wait until the time this comes out. The new sports cars coming in the next five years are going to be outrageous. RWD Tibby, evo x, maybe a new camaro and goat, supra, skyline, sti, plenty of factory souped up stangs, challenger, who knows what else. Sports cars are going to be...
It's good they made it home safe.Maybe this shuttle is good for what it is built for. And it's likely I am very much in the dark about the space program, but NASA, when are you going to build a space craft for the 21st century? I mean seriously, how old is this thing? Would you drive an...
I think 230 hp and 240 of tq sounds about right.Agreed. I just got an 05 srt. At my first look I thought it was "just a neon." After about a day of driving it, I couldn't be happier with this car. In stock form it is awesome on the highway compared to my GSX with an evo3. Granted...
Just get a car while your over there, something that is sex on wheels to all of us in the US. Then, when you find out you're coming back, sell it and buy a DSM or two with the money.
I was in your position last year around this time. I ended up waiting until winter break before I spent my money on my car. If your parents are going to help you with books and whatnot, might as well treat yourself to that new turbo. If your going to be fronting the bill for your school...
My uicp is 2.5 inches around the ABS. Check out my gallery for a pic. It's a Dejon Tool pipe with the gm maf sensor, but you can get it without the maf I'm pretty sure.
Here's my 92 on sprint springs and AGX's. Sprints claim a 2 inch drop, I'd say yours is not even close. Find the right size tires first, then maybe it will look a little better.
I have the same symptoms, Evo3 16g, most of the supporting mods minus the FMIC. full spool comes between 3500-4k, I have a few heavy boost leaks right now. My tb shaft seals are still leaking from when i tried to replace them, and my piece-o-shit apexi bov is leaking tons of boost. My system...
I did this a little while ago to my tb. the worst part is getting the screws that hold the throttle plate out of the shaft. That, and making sure you put everything together the way you found it. BTW, fixing that leak made a noticeable difference, but since i have a few other leaks, I'm sure...
Earlier tonight I logged my FIC 650's duty cycle at 72% at about 5700 rpms, 17 psi, evo3 b16g. I think mine seems a little low. I was knocking about 8-12 counts from 3500 up, So I'll probably add more fuel with the maft.
You could just get a 2g o2 housing and port it. That would probably be the cheapest way to go, and it should bolt to your APEXI downpipe fine. I have the evo3 02 and the special style downpipe from RRE. It fits perfect, and it bolts up to my high flow cat and apexi catback.
My Walbro 190 fuel pump lost power on me twice. Both times it was faulty wiring. I would rewire your fuel pump as per these VFAQs, and see if that does the trick.http://www.vfaq.com/mods/pump-relay.html = 1g AWD
http://www.plymouthlaser.com/rewire.htm = 1g AWD...
I can attest to that. My Sprint/AGX combo is terrible. I don't know if it is the springs or shocks or both, but they are wayyy too stiff, even when the agx's are set to the softest.
I'll take a look at the top tomorrow. I thought the top was just the nut that holds the strut in, tried turning that but it didnt move. I didn't see a screw, but I'll look again since its there ROFL
So I know this is a pretty rediculous question, but I am not sure where/how to adjust my AGXs, since they came on the car when I bought it. Right now they are too stiff, I want to soften them up a little bit. I think there is a screw to turn, but I don't know if the screw is down on the shaft...
I'm running fuel injector clinic 650 CCs with my evo3 b16g. They were $299.00 from AGP turbo on sale, but I'm not sure if they are the same price still. So far they have worked great for me. I'm running a GM maft blow through setup, and all I did to adjust for the larger injectors was change...
I took my name out, I can't make it because the gsx failed inspection. I'm not driving it 4 hours down and back with illegal tags. I really want to go this sucks. Im putting an outer tie rod, wheel bearing, new ds caliper and new break pads on tonight, but i need new tires before it will pass.
Mine is velcroed to the drivers side wall of the center console. I'm thinking about putting it somewhere in the dash (1g), can't decide where or how yet.
Hey guys, just a reminder if your coming from the north and want to caravan down with a bunch of us, check out the thread for the CARAVAN, here's the link.http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=163435
I just installed my evo3 over the weekend. I have a walbro 190 lph for my feul system and i was getting zero knock at 15 psi, though I only pulled up to about 5k rpms and only once just to satisfy my temptation.
I was having the same issues with my Ebay datalogging cable. Turns out the cable was designed to be connected to a pc. I got the null modem adapter after searching for hours through posts, mostly by Steve (he seems to know his shit :thumb: ). And the logger worked fine. Couldn't cost your...
I have friends that go to school in Atoona too. I'm going up feb 11th to see them I think. How far is blairsville from Toontown? We went to that hooters when I visited them in november, I didn't see any cars the whole wekeend though. Just my luck.
I'm definetly trying to come. It will be the day after the GMU meet. I have to go back to school that day so hopefully I will be able to make it before I go back. I'm only 15 minutes from Cochranville so it shouldn't be an issue.
My friends WRX did the same thing when we installed his aem intake. Heh...It was because the MAS was put on backwards. Might want to make sure its on the right way and all that jazz.
That page was from 2 years ago, wouldn't we have heard something else about that hideous car by now? The new durango, mustang, and f150 are all on that page also.
I learned on my moms automatic impala, then when I got my car I pretty much knew exactly what both clutch and gas pedals did from watching friends drive and learning about the actual clutch device, so it was common sense for me, I was driving fine in an hour. Its all just a matter of finding...
