Yeah it's all in what you like. Stock for stock the 4g would out last the sr. Each has their alkalis tendon. I would drive a 4g over an sr anytime.

Yeah could be the master cylinder, Did you just put in a clutch ? And if so what kind.

Might need to replace the water pump or try driving without the tstat and see what it does.

If you have enough of the bolt sticking out you can put two small nuts on the bolt and use the back one to screw it out.( Had to do that to my exhaust stud.)

Looks like a throttle body off a JDM 4g63t motor. Mine that I got looked like that and the linkage was on the opposite side as well like that one.

Make sure your thermostat is not sticking causing the water not to flow to it. Also might want to check your fluid in the radiator as well.
