A lot of people are re-shimming after filling the carrier bearings. This holds the driveshaft more secure and allows you to get better results.

Do those come with shims? The factory actually shimmed each carrier bearing seperately to get the right angles on the driveshaft. Each car is not the same and there are multiple replacement washers, in different thicknesses, that you can order from Mitsu.

Well after much delay I finally got my car back up and running. I just wanted to bump this up and say that my memory must be going a bit ;) I get around 10 in/Hg with the 4R cams idling at 1000rpms. The 14-16 I remembered must have been the 272's that I had before the 4R cams.

But what about the rod/stroke ratio on the 94mm crank? I believe that's one of the perks of the Magnus (besides being Billet), a great rod/stroke ratio which according to them gives you a 9500rpm rev limit.

Last time I heard Marco talk about them he said the Evo guys really liked that combo and he's sold more to Evo guys. You might try looking around on the Evo boards for some first hand info.

Record on gas means it's not methanol. It can be pump gas or race gas.

Both are in the engine compartment. The pressure switch should be on the AC line on the passenger side of the car. The coolant switch is one of the ones on the top half of the thermostat housing.

There's a pressure switch on the AC line that could cause it to not come on if the switch is faulty or you don't have enough pressure. There is also a coolant temp sensor dedicated for the AC. If that sensor is malfunctioning, or you're overheating the car, it will turn the AC off.

I don't think a 6 speed would help any unless you're looking for a major overdrive 6th gear. These cars could use a taller gear for cruising on the interstate at 70-80mph. Maybe some people just want another gear instead of getting the taller 5th that is available?I agree 1st gear is...
