Yes. Just get a good gasket for the pump and it'll be fine. The NPR are Nippon's i believe. They supply many OEM products for the 4g63 and as long as your build is pretty stock then you'll be fine. But i'd recommend better if your making big power.

I think when you get out to see the car, do a compression check. That should be able to put your mind at ease about almost everything. They're easy to do and wont harm anything even if you decide not to buy it.

1996 Cars have OB2, do a diagnostics check. Or in other words, check for the check engine light codes. There are "Hotw to's" everywhere, i would try that.

You are going to need more fuel, 550cc+ Inj and maybe a Walbro 255 with AFPR. Then a way to tune it all, at minimum a SAFC. Without those items, you're not going to touch 12's. With them, and a good run, you got a shot.
