i would just buy a new shortblock.. much more reliable than trying to rebuild yourself.. i was in the same situation and just got tired of dealing with machine shops.. so i just bought a longblock and parted out the head and old block.. it was not as exspensive as i thought it would be

i think removing the turbo is an easy job... besides the whole radiator and coolent thing. that gets messy. but other then that its a breeze. ###### can swap turbos in 2 hours. easy. i have an ebay evo 16g. i think the seals are going bad but ive got about 2000 miles atleast on it running 15...

I owned a 02 civic si hatch.. by far the most reliable car I ever owned.. the only thing I had to replace was the motor mounts... I loved my civic.. and that has a k20 non vtech, with 9:1 compression.. perfect for a turbo platform.. and they look sweet to... the shifter on the dash is nice

yeah i have ebay 16g.. it lasted a whole summer. on 15 pounds of boost. if i could go back in time i would have not bought i though.. your wastegate will not work at first.. you must play with it alot and adjust the arm before u install it. and yes it still works... for how long i do not...

pretty much the only way to make a non turbo to a turbo is to rip the whole motor out and make a project of it.. ## not gona be able to do it cheap either. i tend to agree with others.. sell ## car and buy a turbo.. otherwise its gona cost you alot of money to turn ## NT into a RELIABLE turbo car

i was wondering if anyone has ever used window weld on thier rear diff mounts.. i did this on a civic once and it worked really good. just as good as polyurathane mounts.
