    Specific subwoofer question

ive got a buddy with an r32 and an sti, hes got a 10inch jl w6v2 in both, and it thumps loud when you'd like it for the spl but you can turn it down and have it set to just a nice very clean beat for the sq....i would definately recommend the JL for both, kicker more for spl

Audio question... can someone comment on this setup. Im not too knowledgeable

haha if you hit up craigslist it will be. but yes, those boss audio speakers are garbage. Around here, those are what you find at pawnshops and walmart. Like spydermanGSX said, you get what you pay for. Goto best buy, their products are alright and are decent for the price. The pioneers...

    Specific subwoofer question

kickers are awesome IMO. the l7 will DEFINATELY thump like a mofo. I installed a lot at best buy and loved the results every time. I personally prefer JL but, as a second choice Kicker would be right there, you wont be upset (that is, if you have a nice amp to power that monster)

Audio question... can someone comment on this setup. Im not too knowledgeable

interesting. i DEFINATELY would not get the BOSS speakers. I worked at best buy in the install bay for a year and a half until i came down here to goto college. but anyway, if you're not trying to spend too much, look around for some used alpine type r's. alpines are decent, and good for the...

    Dimmer Switches Keep Burning Up

if you have one lead on the ground, and the other on the source that you're checking, turn the lights from low to high, see what changes and then at least you'll kind of know which wire does what, or at least get an idea. im not too sure on this so i'd wait for someone elses opinion as well...

    bov and engine problem

just from his BOV being cracked and i guess a major boost leak, that would cause it to kinda bog like that? my car used to do the same thing but i just cut the dump tube for the stock bov and it kinda helped. i know i just need to get a new one overall.

    Dimmer Switches Keep Burning Up

its real easy man...when you test for voltage just make sure you have the negative lead on any ground, meaning any part of the chassis, maybe scratch a little paint away or you can def. use some peices of metal under the steering wheel. and if you get it wrong, all it will do is show up as (-)...

    Dimmer Switches Keep Burning Up

haha, get your voltmeter or a multimeter and see if you're getting 12volts if not, find another 12v source and wire it up, see if it helps. and of course check your fuses, interior and under the hood just to make sure...simple mistake but also very common. oh yea, make sure your ground wires...
