Hey guys, I was thinking it would be cool to get a bunch of dsm's or any other tuner cars together for a photo shoot sometime. If anyone would be interested in meeting up in the milwaukee or maybe madison area. Please let me know.
I have a Autometer pro-comp boost gauge that no longer sits in the atmospheric box for zero. Is there anyway to adjust it or have it recalibrated? Or is the gauge dumpsterbound?
ok...so after lookin at the wire that broke again, its the low coolant sesor on top the t-housing that broke. Not the wire for the coolant temp sensor. Anyways, new sensor is orderd and should be here soon. Also...this is a reallly funny issue. Sometime when i shut my car off and am standing...
that wire did break on me a couple weeks ago. I didnt think the issue was realted cause the start issue didnt occur until earlier this week. ill get a new sensor and see what happens(the wire broke at the sensor). thanks
Within the past week or so my gvr4 has acquired a cold start issue. It takes between 3-5 attempts of crankin it over before it will fire up, and then i have to play with the pedal to keep it running. after about a minute, the car runs on it own. It seems like it doesnt want to kick into the high...
Looking for some parts for my buddies 91 GVR4.Heres the list:Aftermarket shocks and springsShort throw3'' hard fmic install kit (piping, couplers, and clamps)Turbo (14b or larger)Cold air intake
lol...i will trust me. Only reason i put autolites in was that was the only thing i had at the shop and parts places were closed. When i pulled the ngk's out, the one plug was like melted on the electrodes so it had a HUGE gap to jump.
thanks bigredmonster. Thats hoods pretty cool looking, but im not sure if i wanna go with anything like that. Still kinda like to find cf hood that is just like the stock hood design without the invader part.

So i thought that this stutter may have been caused by the blown turbo, but i just installed a good condition 14b with little to no shaft play, and i still get this stutter at approximately 6000 rpm's. Checked the plugs, one was pretty shitty looking (detonation maybe?), so i installed 4 new...
So i blew my 16g this past weekend, and ive been doing alot of shopping. I was thinking a 20g, or something equivelant. My set-up as of now is: wiseco pistons and rods, stock head, ported exhaust mani, 3" turbo back, big spearco fmic with hard piping, cruched 1g bov, 580cc injectors, 255 fuel...
well i discovered a nifty storage compartment to the left of the steering wheel. Safc fits...very tightly though, so i think im gonne stash it there lol.
The trans in my Galant likes to act up from time to time. Ill be driving along and go to shift gears, and it gets like stuck in a gear and then it will loosen up momentarily so you can shift again. The trans was supposed to have about 70k on it, act 2100 clutch, and 1g shifter linkage. Any ideas?
Thats what i wonder about them. How far can you push that 4b11 block before it explodes. I guess only time will tell. Maybe ill go test drive one and see about getting a new evo X
I didnt get the mount that is supposed to come with the safc. I picked it up for $40 off some kid who was parting out a turbo integra. I suppose some sort of angle bracket might work and help with the tipping over issue. I want it to be easily removable to make it easier to adjust settings.
Im trying to find a good way to mount my safc on the dash without drilling any holes. Ive tried the velcro with adhesive backing, but it wont support the weight of the afc and tips over. Any ideas?
