it kind of hard to say from that video, track down the sound, maybe using a long screw driver and listening to the end, finding out where it is generally comining from is your first step.

well its really hard for me to give a time frame, because of how much extra work i have done to prep the body, because i deleted the wing, side skirt, and welding and plugging all the holes took a lot of time, + i have been working on the whole car in general, with a fuse box relocation, 6 bolt...
all i have to say is if there is any spider cracks in the old paint then you beeter sand them out, other wise they will be into your new paint too... Also when sanding it down making sure there are no shinny spots, from old clear, cause the new paint aint going to stick.

it takes alot of work and time to get the bay really cleaned up, esp. if you want to hide/relocate the fuse box. but if you plan on running dsm-link there are quite a few sensors that can be deleted, this helps the clean up the engine bay.

on your question number 2, about replacing the crank pulley, i would say replace as sooon as you can. I haven't had any trouble with my dsm's pulley, but with some on my cars in the past, just casued me many headaches.
