Does anybody know where i can get a deal on a flywheel cover? I just bought my 97 gs-t probably 3 weeks ago and after fixing my oil pressure sensor wire i noticed that there was no flywheel cover:notgood:
Thanks in advance.
Check your turbo to manifold. As well as where the manifold meet the engine block itself. There could be a leak big enough to where you would just automatically lose air.
haha, mine was during one of those midnight surgery sessions i'm sure that we all know and love. It it was somewhat quite around my house and BAM. :cry:I jumped pretty good. :(
Make sure that you tighten down the clamps on the tester its self super tight. The first time i tested mine, the pressure built up to about 6 psi and about that time the tester shot off the turbo and scared the crap out of me.Other than that you might want to take off the oil cap on your...
My buddy has a 95 n/t. His door locks were giving him a lot of trouble as well. like blcksp00lin said..Check the fuse box. It should be located near your left foot. Off the the left of you're clutch pedal. Use the lid as a reference to where the correct fuse it located. That's what was wrong...

Virtual Tour of the DSM Engine Bay - Quadrant mapand not necessarily. You're going to want to do a boost leak test first to see if that screws leaking. You just take the intake pipe and put a boost leak tester on the turbo and pressurize the system...
Do a boost leak test and check your throttle body area. You might need a new o-ring in you BISS Screw. I had that same problem. Here's were the BISS Screw can be located.

It's circled in purple.
Where's that located?EDIT: I just found a thread on it after about 30 minutes of searching. :thumb:I went out there and pushed down on the sensor and it seemed snug in there so i'm not exactly sure why my speed-o-meter isn't work all the time. Sometimes is will and others it won't...
My TPS was at 4.8 at idle and when i kept it around 3.5k it would go down to around 3.8 volts....Also i just went out there and looked around. My intake pipe came loose from the compressor housing and the TPS harness seemed like a came loose off of the throttle body...
Could that be the...
Well it has been about 2 weeks... :coy:And i'm working on getting my pocketlogger registered as we speak.. waiting for the company to send me the registration code..
I'm driving and my speed-o-meter quits working. Then if i go above 4.5k rpms it shoots up to whatever speed i'm at. Also my SAFC says that i'm at 100% Throttle when my foots not even on the accelerator.. And when i am accelerating is just jumps around randomly...
WTF
Also the idle is surging...
I just got a m100 out of the classifieds. I was looking though it and was about to run out to my car to test it out on my CEL's but it said the batteries were low....so i though to myself ok... change them.So i changed them and then turned it back on and realized that the ODBII logger...

That's doesn't sound too bad. I'd go for a ride with him and make sure the tranny runs smooth and everything sounds (acts) as should be. Then i'd take $6,200 in cash. And if not then... rip out a check for $300 lol.
The MPI should be under the driver side dash. Buried the depths of the wires. Use that link as a reference to what the MPI look like and go hunt. Also, this link should become one of your best friends soon...

I'm not familiar with running the line like that. But it's very possible that it could work. You most certainly need to plug that hole though (given that you current oil feed is a sufficient way to route it). It may even requite a cooper crush washer as well.
The first essentials...1. K&N air filter
2. Boost Gauge
3. (IMO) wideband O2 sensor
4. Data LoggerAfter that it's alll about what kinda power you want. These links should help :thumb:

Where abouts in Dallas do you live?EDIT: I failed to mention that i do my own work as well :D I've just heard good things about that shop though.
Where do you have your Oil Feed coming from?
Try to post a picture of that. If it coming from the oil filter then i believe you can just plug that hole off. I have my Oil Feed coming from the Filter so i'll run outside right now and check to see what's going on in my engine for that hole.EDIT...
You will get about 6 e-mail a day from scammers through craigslist.
They will almost always be common names like "Jon Brown" or "Sanda Jameson".
I advise that you take nothing but cash.
Most will say that they are buying your vehicle for their "client". Don't believe a word of it. Just ignore...
