Well there are people running the -10 an lines and no problems. I was on a cummins site and most people run -12. One person was running a -16 and im not going to run that big of a drain even the people on the cummins forum thought it was a little too big lol.
The only thing that bothers me is i keep getting the run around. I've been told so many different sizes by people running holsets. Some run without a restrictor and its fine. Same with drain line some run -10 an fine. I have a -12 drain line. The -12 fitting is on the stock holset drain fitting...

i'd say go with dsmlink, if you use the gm maf you dont need the translater anymore just has the cable for it. i have a 2g mas, about to buy a evo mas and i also have a 3.5" gm maf im not sure what ill end up running on the car, most likely a evo mas
+1 :thumb: the only way to tell this on a car while its runnig is if you have a wideband for each cylinder. the only thing i would ever port without a flowbench is exhaust stuff ports, manifolds, turbos, o2 housings
i work at a machine shop and we've milled heads more then .020" for people before when the limit on the head was around .004" being the limit to how much it can be milled. if anythign check your valve clearance.
im was thinking about doing the same just building the head and keeping the stock bottom end but as for teh valve job the 3 angle or 5 angle wont give you power it will just help the valve seat properly. a 3 angle valve job will work just fine, but i would say build the bottom end too, or if you...

i have a hx40 i plan on running on my car once i get the motor rebuilt, my brother works for dodge so i can get drain and feedlines for a holset from his work at dealer cost, so should i buy those and get soemthign fab'd up for my car and get a n/a oil pan and go from there?
updated, pulled the block apart today and as i was doing it i grabbed the crank and it had at least .5" of in and out play, took it out and the thrust bearings were shot so were a few main bearings, but yet teh car ran fine? the oil pick up screen had a few long stands of bearing stuck in it so...
