Maybe I'm stupid, but aren't a MAF and MAP two totally different things? My 1996 GTP has both. I know for sure because I replaced both of them this year. The MAF is right after the air box, MAP is up at the throttlebody (closer to the plenum).Side note I just got that car back on the road...

I get 22.8 MPG on my DD 1999 GTP now, around town (mostly rural primary routes). Usually ranges from 22.5 to 23.0. Took it to Connecticut (4 hour drive) and got 26.3 MPG doing 85-90 the whole way, not bad for a supercharged 3.8 liter V6 if you ask me, but I've heard of people with tunes on them...

Unless the malware (if there is any) is preventing him from running HJT (some do), then he should do it in normal mode. Sometimes it wont let you remove the entries, so that MIGHT have to be done in safe mode too.
