Get a wideband. I have both and honestly, I dont even look/use the EGT.

I just recently (last month) went 11.408 @ 126 with a tdo5-20g. The car weighs 2830 lbs with out me in it according to the truck scales.

I went the same route and had to make a 20" test pipe to make it fit. They all vary which means you have to bolt it on and measure what you need to make it work.

Boost Gauge Tap taken from vfaq.com which has many how to tips & tricks for your dsm.yes autometer is a decent brand. There are better ones, but Autometer will work. (I use Autometer)
