go to hahnracecraft.com. they have several kits for the 420a engines on stock internals to run 13's with. comes with everything your need to do it. you can easily run 13's on the stock motor. maybe throw some arp head studs to play it real safe. if you want even more power, throw some mild cams...
i picked up a set of evo 9 rods and pistons with the wrings for 250 shipped to my door. im guessing the best way to get accurate info is to contact thedsmgraveyard as they sell the motors built with these internals.

you should be plenty fine with the stock rods with upgraded hardware and bearings, depending on how well you build it too. also the tune when its all done will make a world of difference. their is plenty of guys on here running well in the 11's with over 400whp as a daily driver with no issues...
those are good numbers. get more seat time and you def have an 11 sec timeslip. if you can get that 60' to a low 1.7 to high 1.6 and a little quicker shifting you should def get some 11.8 or faster.
3inch tbe, walbro pump, boost controller, intake 1st gen bov and upper hard pipe. you can probaly get all that for less than 800 if you shop right. also maybe the upgraded actuater. i think that will ge u close to 250 whp.

still with a 2.0 60ft thats is a good time with that boost and stock cams along with an old tune. get that 60 ft down with more boost and cams this car will easily pull some 11.8's and faster i think on pump gas.

yeah i have heard that and even heard of people with high idc's with 660cc too. im going to use a keydiver chip as well. im thinking maybe 880cc so then i have room to grow. the thing is my friend just put a red on his evo so he is going to just give them to me due to putting 880's in.
