the middle pin on your transistor is what controls your tack. my pin backed out and my tack did the same thing

I agree. You have pin point where the air is coming out. pull the turbo out if u have to. Plug the the presure side and go from there.

i put a jdm in my 95. 5/8in has to be cut off the half shaft. need jdm starter. all motor mounts are 1/2in out. need to take out the valve body and change the wiring to have the proper plugs. other than that mine was fine.

I had to cut my front control arm bolts. so i just replaced the with grade 8 bolts of the same size.

I have the same problem. 3" down pipe 16g is what i have. those two things are the problem. I ported my turbo and hopefully fixes it. if it dosen"t i will put an external wast-gate on it.

take out the gear again and use a marker or somthing that will rub off if it turns so you will know if the gear is turning. when you do this drive slow enough so the speedo wont work.

Whenever I do a leak test I set my pressure regulator at the highest psi that the boost will be and have a quick coupler on the leak tester, so if there is a leak i have more time to find it. and if it is going threw the valves you will hear air coming out the exhaust or valve cover.

for the 5 min it takes, to pull it out. pull the back cover off and check the gear for burrs and for play. It is made of plastic so it wont take much to damage it. If everything is fine might want to check for broken wires.

I have a 95 so i don't know if they are the same but on your power translator, the middle wire is your tach wire. Mine backed out and caused my tach to stop working. Like I say, I have a 2g. I don't know about a 1g

I just got a evo 3 oil filter housing to run a air oil cooler. I just did a bs removal to. Since the evo ofh has a oil pressure relief do I still need to port the housing?

On mine the converter bolted up but there was a 1/2" gap between the motor & tranny.

I agree the intake dosen't take much torque. I use a 1/4" rachet w/ my middle & index finger to masure tightness. consentrate more on even torque. tight on one side or the easyer bolts to get at, and lose on others or harder bolts to get at can cause leaks or even crack things
