If you are modifying your own fork do not do the whole trans reinstall before checking to make sure the fork clears the pressure plate. Turn the engine by hand.
If I remember right everything is the same that is obvious like mentioned above, I believe the front motor mount is different. By front I mean the front of the block when looking in the engine bay also known as a roll stop.
Read on how to propery check compression. If you had numbers between 50-75 you wouldnt have been complaining about fuel in your oil, you would have noticed much bigger issues.
I haven't laid into it hard enough then. I do go extra slow over speed bumps though. I took the extra effort to make some smooth transitions to the oem muffler so I at least see some performance gain with the cut out closed. With a stockish car and decent suspension you shouldnt have an issue.
When i did my exhaust i did it similiar to yours, by running it under the diff it allowed for no bends other than to shoot it out where the stock muffler goes through the bumper. I didnt bend mine back up like you did, i just angled a straight piece of pipe up once agian for no bends. Only...
I think you should at least clear it up that it was NOT BogusSVO, I think people are getting the idea that it is him in a round about way. This post pretty much shows it wasnt him, he is not going to need to see a thread to do the oil port mod..... Sucks what happened here good luck with it.
My advice for you is to get a aftermarket oil pressure gauge if your concerned with the pressure. Also pull the filter housing and inspect your surfaces for flatness, goudging or anything abnormal. Thats where I would start.
Yes it could and most likely did cause the high oil pressure which intern can cause leaks. You can still pull the filter housing pretty easy. Search for how to do it, it not difficult. Good luck
Man this is pretty straight forward just by looking at it and taking the bolts out you see. If i recall correctly
5 bolts in the engine bay, the most obvious ones
4 bolts total in the wheel well, 2of these are mentioned below as well
2 bolts that hold the fender to the bumper
2 or 3 bolts...
You will most likely just need to loosen most of the caps slighlty in order to get any lift on the cam without prying. The cams are obviously pretty ridgid and dont have a whole lot of give. I wouldnt really be concerned with this, by removing the gears your getting into timing so its not like...
How did you manually prime it? I have never had luck with getting oil pressure to show on the gauge by just cranking. Prime it with again with someone else cranking the car and watch for it in the valve cover, dont just go by the amount you see in the head through the valve cover.
Check the fuses in the engine bay. if I remember right there is one that controls the buzzer and im also thinking something to do with the dash lights.
No your disc should not be able to move. This is why you put your alignment tool in and torque the pressure plate to hold the disc during the install. It is in a engaed state until it is released by the tob. Check to ensure the dowel that is giving you trouble is still in "round", not oval...
Always a very very good idea to replace the tensioner. On most of them there is actually a date printed on the side of it, this could make your decsion if it says something like 10-15-99.
The splines will be the same for 95-99. Go to http://www.jackstransmissions.com/pages/tech-articles , then you can test the t case to correctly identify it.
While your picking up parts and getting good gas mileage you will most likely draw attention from cops. The Brats and Rampages scream pervert about as loud as possible.
I's say this shit needs to calm down quick. Not to put words in his mouth but my guess would be ''by the rest of them'' he was talking about the runs. You jumping on him about racist comments made you look like a stupid ####.
I agree t with flag part, what did you mean by the rest of them? Were there more flags or did you mean the 100+ puerto ricans behind the car on the line?
