hey guys, i just got my 6bolt that im going to be swaping in to my 2g and i know that i will put the 2g exhaust manifold and O2 housing on the 6bolt. but what about the intake manifold? would the 1g or the 2g intake manifold flow more air?thanks, jason

to get the compressor out jack your car up and get under there and its mounted to the back of the block held on by four 12mm bolts make sure u have a good hold of it b/c its kinda heavy, and as far as the condenser all u have to do is take your radiator out witch is only held on by four 12mm...

the evo 16g is a great turbo and will get u into the the 13's easly with the right supporting mods, and if u plan on running 13's i would highly recomend getting 550cc or even 660cc injectores the stock 450's wont do a damn thing for u if your trying to get low times, as far as the top end power...
well for one i love my DSM and wouldnt want anything else but ever since i got mine i have had nothin but problems, my whole mod list is full of things i did b/c something went wrong so i just upgraded, im not trying to say DSM's are'nt worth it but if i got to start over and had 15g's to start...

me and one of my buddies took out a 6bolt yesterday it took us about 6 hours b/c we lifted the engine instead of dropping it throught the bottom, plus im more of a newbe when it comes to taking engines out
by getting a bigger and more free flowing upper intercooler pipe u will make your BOV a bit loader because u will be flowing more air in your intakejason
the stock exhaust manifold and the O2 sencer housing, they are larger and can flow more exhaust then the stock 1g canporting a 1g exhaust manifold and O2 housing would be the same as stock 2g exhaust manifold and O2 housing

just because u have an auto just doesnt meen u wont get crankwalk, if u have an auto u will have a less chance then a 5speed, my car is an auto and it crankwalked, the only way to provent crankwalk is to get a 6bolt swap like im doinggood luck :thumb:
if hes getting a 2g then you are missing the biggest piont about having an auto "crankwalk" , ive read up on it and if u have an auto you will have a less chance of getting crankwalk then u would a 5speedjason
are u talking about the AEM bypass thing that helps against water being sucked in your intake? well if u are i heard that they had a recall on them, plus u really dont have to have one anywayzjason

^^^^^ hes right, u could get a s-afc and adjust it yourself but if u dont do that then try to add more air to get a better a/f mix, turn up the boost or something.
