I've had mine for 18 years jdxcn 😜T25, Honestly the spool on that thing was LOUD and would bring a huge grin ton my face on WOT and I loved it. then I switched to a Chinese Evo 3 16g I purchased from god speed project and it got a lot quieter 😢..... All of this was done back in 2006. That...
Brand new brake reservoir bracket made by DCP. Brand new.No longer need it as I am going with a 3G BMC.shipped to your door for $60. USA shipping only.
I normally run the traditional Prestone 50/50 mix and had never had any issues. My cooling system is pretty much stock aside from just a higher pressure radiator cap (1.3 bar if I remember correctly) and some redline water wetter which I decided to add just because. As for the VRSF FMIC...
With you on this one as well. When it gets to 90+ down here not once did I have an overheating issue, that is with a VRSF FMIC, mind you I cut out the black upper portion of my front bumper as well as trimming the same amount off the crash support bar. All of my cooling system is also stock...
Hmmmm I don't think a powder coat would make such a huge difference but it is something to look at.... The wheels I got do look like they have a factory coating.
Idk about that... DSM center bore is advertised as 69.... Even the Evo X is.... but the Evo X wheels center bore is 67mm so something is off. From what I've learned is that a Dsm and Evo VII-VIII have the same measurements all around; Evo X still has a cloud around it. Can someone else...
Do you have a picture of your OEM hub that is currently attached to the car/Evo X wheel? the only other thing I could think is different is that the early 2g Dsm had somewhat of a different bore than that of the later ones. if you can please provide a picture of your hub attached to the Evo X...
How sure were you that your hub was OEM? Did it look more like my first picture or the 2nd one? I had about a 5MM gap with the hub I'm assuming is OEM vs the one that is reduced. Pictures of OEM hubs look more like my 2nd picture...
Attempted to test fit some Evo X Enkei Wheels on my 2g..... contrary to what some people have said about being a direct fit, they are not..... BUT.......... I found a solution; If you have what I think are the factory Hub assemblies the wheels will not fit. Most, if not all aftermarket hubs...
Here is a good one:Got the auto trans rebuilt on my DSM, after a couple of days the car lost power, every time I would step on it, it would just take a nose dive and not go.... If I would drive like a grandma everything was fine but the moment I tried to punch it it would fall on its face, my...
Up for sale is a brand new never installed Cadillac CTSV 13" Brembo big brake kit. It includes all the items to do the swap except brake pads and hardware kit; Uses the same brakes and hardware kit as a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII-IX and of course the 2004-2007 Cadillac CTS-V.Parts included...
I can say the same about RockAuto, nothing but great experiences with them as well as better pricing compared to other places.I love using them over local auto parts stores which tend to be more expensive and don’t really offer that many options at reasonable prices.Thats my experience.
Hey whats up guys. Haven't been as active as I used to be. If you have any questions about how to install/where to get these fogs; shoot me a PM. Its really easy to do so. And the end result is great. Works and functions just like OEM fogs. For those of you wanting to see them without the...
In my opinion; the best way to remove a stuck oil filter would be to just use oil filter pliers. grab it about 1/4 inch away from the base and get a good grip. The pliers themselves crush the filter but just enough to get a good hold of it.
Ehhh... 2g a/t turbo dsm's all have an external transmission cooler. I have yet to see one that is incorporated into the radiator; maybe the early 95-96 had them but definitely not they 98-99.Its pretty simple to find out if yours is external or not. The external transmission cooler is...
Your brakelight switch could be the cause of your problem.http://m.autozone.com/autozone-mobile/en/parts/1996-Mitsubishi-Eclipse/Stoplight-Switch/_/N-j5kduZ9cias?searchText=Switch
are you sure?? in the eight years of having my DSM I don't think I've ever heard a hissing sound at all when I go put gas.you might have a vent blocked off.
Ok.... So pretty much you are just having a hard time with your overdrive correct??? if you are, most likely your end clutches are gone and need to be replaced. You can buy an end clutch rebuild kit from importperformancetrans.comIf you are having a hard time with all of your gears; most...
Hey you messed up on the rubber bushing. You were actually suppose to fit it right in between the the intercooler bracket and the radiator support just to give you the needed space. But from the looks of it yours fits fine anyway.
Damn you old! LOL JK.7 years with my Eclipse. Man I thought about selling mine a few times but the thought of getting rid of it and the thought of the new owner not taking care of it as good as I have just gives me the shivers LOL.
Just leave it on and forget about it. It actually helps you save gas since your engine is running at a lower RPM. you can turn it off if you happen to be going up a hill just to get a bit more response out of the engine/trans.
Yup when I got my car bone stock other than an intake kit. The transmission line never ran thru the radiator; as a matter of fact the radiator never even had cooler line fittings to begin with. It was directly routed to the stock trans cooler.I've been under the assumption that most; if...
You can just put a screwdriver thru the hole and bend it about an inch to whichever sides it needs to without having to unbolt anything.I had to do that in order for my VRSF FMIC piping to clear without hitting the dipstick. Very simple to do.
No you do not need to block off those lines. They are only there for those vehicles that are equipped with an internal transmission cooler that runs thru the radiator. if your vehicle is a manual/has an external transmissioon cooler, you don't have to worry about it.
Yeah they really do look OEM(they actually fit alot better than the OEM fogs around the bezel which is pretty funny lol). you can't really tell that much. and yes in cali we do have to have plates up front and the back.Overall im really happy with the way they fit. Sure beats having an...
Yes they are aftermarket lights. for a while I was running the stock ones; But I didn't really like the way my driver side fog was mounted and decided to just get some much more slimmer fogs and install them.It was pretty simple to figure it all out .
Let me know what you guys thing of my VRSF FMIC with fog lights :D. ;)Gentlemen I advise that you clean after yourself after looking at the pictures LOL. I will not be responsible for any damages done to your screen after looking at the pictures LOL ROFLOne thing I don't like is that as...
Damm that must have been some bing pot hole. I drove around with my 19" for about 6 years and never had a problem with them other than to have to change tires evry 2 years lol.I recently switched out to 17's and my ride quality is alot less noisy for some reason lol.
