I had a friend check last night and he sent me a pic.
He did have the same connections!Apparently they do go to the plugs above them. I figured so but wanted to be %100.
1st plug is by the fuse box.
There are 3 blue connectors and i cannot figure where the last one goes.
Only thread ive found on it says it might go to factory alarm and remote lock/ unlock. The 2nd is under the center console.
I bought a 95 gsx recently (non-running) and i found 2 wires cut under the dash.
The wires are coming from the cooling unit.
My other gsx (97) does not have wires in the same location.1 wire is yellow with blue stripe on both sides.
1 wire has solid yellow in both sides.I tried...
I received a response." set # 2c4558 is designed for a 4g63 and 4g63t vin code D, F. That is a 85mm bore with 1.2, 1.2, 2.0 piston groove widths. So if that is the engine code yes they will fit."
My car doesn't burn oil and pulls smooth. I was wondering if it was normal for readings that low, cause Id rather fix it while there would be less damage if it gave out during a pull not near home.
Double check to see if they are clipping all the way on.
Look under the car behind the bumper and be sure the clip passes the lip the holds them in. If not use your finger to press the lip of the bumper behind the clip on the light while pushing the light from the other side with your other hand...
I recently did a compression test on my car cause i had oil come out the dipstick. My results were very low 123-106-115-115.
The car runs great but these numbers now have me worried, i plan to purchase a leakdown tester to evaluate this further.Until then do these #'s look as bad as i think...
I bought some evo 8 pistons/rods and evo 9 Hastings rings. I read the oil rings are different between the two, is this correct?
I was told they were evo 9 pistons and rods, but they are evo 8's.
Hastings says the rings are interchangeable but dsmgraveyard says the oil ring is not.Ring part...
Car on With the return line hooked up i got a max of 60psi if i thread the adjustment bolt all the way in, if i unthread it all the way it stays at 50.When the return flows into the bucket it stayed at 43.5 with the car on and off.Ive ran this same fuel setup for about3-4yrs, although the...
With the hose on the fpr dumped in a bucket, pumps activated i set the base fp to 43.5psi. I started the car and it kept the same pressure.I installed the fpr return line back to the factory return and with the car off 43.5psi with the car on 50psi. I threaded the fpr adjustment all the way...
The gauge is leaking the oil from the face.Only regulated air i have is a HF 2gal. pancake compressor, i have no faith in it's accuracy.I picked up some hose just now, I will hook it to the fpr and see if anything changes.
I threaded the adjustment bolt all the way down and even un-threaded it far enough that it came off and there was no change in the reading. I do see some fluid leaking out of the gauge.I will try dumping the return line in a bucket and post the results. If the base pressure is actually that...
Yes, Link activates both pumps.
Car off: 11.6v
Car idle: 13.5I have -6an feed from tank to rail/ rail to fpr.
I believe i have a 3/8th line from the fpr to the stock hard return line. The fpr is the aeromotive compact.
*UpdateI heard my inline pump making intermittent noises, seen my fpr gauge jumping around +/- 4psi both ways. I checked all the connections and found a bad ground on the inline pump. Now my fpr is stable, problem is i can get 43.5 base pressure with activated pumps on link. But when i start...
Yes, i was considering upgrading link today.
My wideband is on my o2 housing about 7" from the flange.
I have a 255hp intank with a bosch 044 inline on a full -6an line.
Idle log with new table and airperrev averaging 25, I had to bring my deadtimes up to 645 to keep the FT's in line.I will cruise around and use the combft tool again, but its pretty much flat roads in my area.
I updated link 12/12/14.
I used my maf to generate a base table and then thats pretty much where im at now. I will reset the table & richen up the afr's.
1). Any boost, vac, or exhaust leaks? no
Boost leak tested 5psi above your max boost with no leaks? yes2). Verified mechanical timing? yes3). Verified base timing? yes4). Ignition system

I drilled the holes on my valve cover to make room for studs, installed studs with a small amount of jb weld & put washers and nuts. DoneIt worked for me, i didn't feel like buying a new valve cover after mine was recently powdered.
1.)I had clear coat peeling on the rear quarter panel, i sanded, and re-sprayed it.
2.)finally installed my rear drivers side mud flap that i bought to replace the one that was ripped off. (I've had it for a few months now)
3.) i pulled the carpet to start making my passenger side bracket for...
