So much for friends huh. It sounds as if they are trying to rip you off. You can go to the courthouse and talk with the magistrate judge and find out what your options are.
The definition that you found said that a sunroof allows light or air into the passenger compartment. So what would a moon roof be? I guess I will look it up.
you are in a bad situation. You can take him to small claims court, but you will not get your vehicle until the matter is resolved or you could pay and get a receipt and then take him to court to try and get the difference. Good luck.
I agree, it sounds as if you have something grounding out. I am not sure about these starters but my old one on my mustang was bad about grounding out. The battery wire that connects to the starter would turn and touch the starter housing which would cause bad problems.
My alarm has been acting a little funny to. I am not sure of the brand but I will check it out soon. My problem is that the person I bought the car shaved the door handle so the remote is my only way to get in the car.
As you have read there are many pros and cons. I have had a few bad experiences with AAA but my friend that used them had many positive experiences. Try it out and see how you like it.
Are you using a electric air compressor that you plug into your lighter. I tried using one of them and I could not hear any leaks or build up good pressure, so I got a portable tank. I ended up finding several leaks that I was able to fix. I also read several article where other people were...
You can get a good sized air tank at Wal-mart for $20. All you have to do is fill it up at a gas station and you are ready to go. Its cheaper than buying an air compressor.
You could try starting it by pushing it off. I had an old car that would not start with the key but I could push start it. A month later I found an after market security key that was mounted under the dash that had came out. Does it even act like it is trying to fire? If you are getting spark...
You could report it to the police because it is theft and fraud. It is funny how no one like the police until they get scared and need them. The problem is not with the law enforcement but the politicians who tie their hands.
After reading all of these post, all I can say is I am glad I live somewhere that I do not have to worry about that. It seems that it would be a big headache.
Check you exhaust because I had the same problem a few years back. It happened while I was driving a Nissan Sentra and it scared the crap out of me. It was so loud that I could not hear anything else. I took it to a muffler shop and they welded it for $15.
Good find. The car looks to be in good shape. Keep us updated on your progress. Will you be able to work on at any time or are you alloted times? Good luck.:thumb:
