+1. I have used ebay gaskets for about 4 years now. I have never had any problems with any of them, nor have i ever heard anyone else in the 4 years i have been using them. But hey, theres always a first time for everything. Hopefully it wont be you :sneaky:
Is the HU stock? Have you ever run any speaker wires anywhere in the car? Have you done anything since you have owned the car to the stereo system? or done before you bought it?Only thing that could cause the 12V loss, could be power-piggyback- from the brake switch. Other than that, if...
Don't need to take off the manifold.... Just remove the heat shield on top of the mainfold, and then wipe everything down like it has already been suggested.Might get lucky and it only be a heater hose that Locke suggested. Its really close to your head and could possible fool you into...
I defiantly agree on the wire size. alot of people think they can just splice into wires, and i should have elaborated more on that, than just saying it will work. But, actually it does, but it's not smart. Thats actually how they were hooked up when i bought my car. But alot of people don't...
WTF --Well since i have a 4-AWG going through my fire wall, feeding my audio system ,with a 100-AMP fuse, i was not really worried about a 30-AMP to my halos, that is.I have my halo's on a toggle switch inside. I ran my power wire to engine fuse box under the...
ROFL you guys are killing me.. Here is my specs on my first PC i built:Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 48000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
Memory: 4046MB RAM
Hard Drive: 550 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT KO

Have you checked and seen what CEL your getting, first? Then there is alot of threads on idle surge on this site. Just search for it.It could be alot of things. Mostly sensors and stuff. Get the CEL so you can see what is causing that first.
So your saying, no air is coming out of any vents, no matter where you set your dial too. If this is the case, its nothing to do with the heater, but the fan blower motor itself.Check your fuses. Could be a bad switch, or a fuse, or the motor is bad...But if your saying the air is...
Well it defiantly moves back, either something is jamming it, or the switch is bad, or the motor. But i wouldn't bet on the motor.Just pull the switch out, it's no biggie to do, and test it. This will tell you whats up.When you say " hold the switch down". Which way are you holding it...
Your switch might be bad. The switch works off a ground. So you could pull the switch out,(leave wires hooked up to it), and use a test light, hook one end of the test light to ground(-), then touch one of the three prongs and see if the roof opens are slides back, going through all 3 prongs to...
I asked what they were, not if you liked them or they were ricey. The car came with them, like i said to begin with,, so i was trying to figure out what they were.Horsepower plus the " trinkets" is the boss anyways. So i take it there some kinda projection housing. I just bought some new...
Can someone please tell me what these are. Are these halos? I was told this bulb was a fog lite bulb. But when i bought the car these were on it, and I'm trying to figure out exactly what i have got here.Any help please.<img src="http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/3265/dsc00086xe5.jpg"...
It's not bad for the atmosphere if it's a 1993 or Newer. since OP has no car in his profile no way of telling what year it is.134A was put into production 1993 and up. 134A does not contain Chlorine as did R-12. This is why anyone with money, can buy 134A, and you have to be EPA certified to...
+1 on the ECT sensor. Really don't make any sense to say the fuel system, even though it might be letting fuel not stay primmed in the lines.Once you turn your key and hear the pump, the lines are gonna be primmed. Thus letting fuel ready. I mean you could have 2 problems. One with the pump...
Well that doesn't say alot... There are turbos kits out there that ebay sell that work good. God knows at the threads on that. But anyways, as far as inter-cooling piping bro, i would not buy it from ebay.I but alot off of ebay, but this one i would not. Need a good name brand for your...
Do you have any CELS ?What else besides the fuel filter, plugs, and oil have you tried?Sounds like a cam/crank position sensor too.Coil pack be good place to start like absolute suggested.
There is more than just one thing that can cause that.ECT-(Engine Coolant Temp.Sensor)- When the sensor is faulty, the engine coolant temperature is regarded as being 176 degrees.Driveability may become poor and the idle quality will suffer during cold operating conditions. The trouble...
Kinda what i got. But i put headers on with 3" outlet on them.I replaced all my piping with 3" and a ebay muffler. Sounds loud, but not too bad.Cost me like $100.00 for the pipe and $35.00 for the muffler. And the headers of course. Kinda cheap compared to others buying expensive...
Really bad vibration when i got to about 3000 rpms, or less in lower gears. Took me a week to find it because i felt like it wasn't in the steering wheel or front end.Thought it was a motor mount, which i found 2 busted, but after hours of crawling all over and under the car, i found the...
Case? Need more info on that. As far as the oil, its just a bit higher than running 75w-90w gear oil, or what ever your car calls for exactly.I have a 96 and run synthetic oil, but thats what my transmission calls for.Just tell the bone heads to put in the clutch, the type of oil they took...
If it is, it's no big deal. I just replaced mine today. I got axle at auto zone for 49.95.took me about 2 hours. no big deal really. Better that, than something really serious
I agree. I have bought alot of off ebay and keep it to intake, exhaust, etc. I would buy that item without another second thought.I have a AEM CAI, but if i had to buy on, ebay for sure. I know people on here and other sits that have any went as far as buying turbos(complete kit), engines...
Yea i second the coolant temp sensor also, but really wanna know if your getting any CEL codes. That thread is also very helpful. Lets us know what you find with the information we have provided.
Appears i read your post wrong. I thought you said Cam shaft area. Now that i have re-read it see i was wrong. As far as finding the problem you need to re-trace your steps on what you have just done.Another words can you look into the cover from underneath, , get under the car and start...
As stated, the balance belt is not gonna cause it to start. It's just there for engine vibration.Theres Alot of things that can cause idle surge. Alot in the forums you can search for.First things first, you have to get it started before fixing the idle problem. We need more information...
Don't have to be shifting. The dam thing can be in neutral and the rpms stay up once u press the gas and let off it. takes too long to drop down to idle. and yes it bothers me...:notgood:
Mine does the same exact thing, and it pisses me off too..I just put a new TB on and a new IAC and TPS, plus i have no cat. Test pipe there instead, and i had same thing with rpms before i changed the TB, so it's not in there...Surly someone has dealt with it..
Have you actually ever done this ? Sounds very interesting. How many plies did you use, and where in the car did you use it ?Did you glue it down or what ?B-Quite is just as expensive as Dynamat. No helpLooking for cheaper stuff, not same price stuff.
