Ok guys I bought a 95 Talon TSi for a daily, so I dont have to drive my truck and my "race/fun car" on the street. It has 103k on it, only mod is an aftermarket BOV that was on when I bought it. I wanted a car with boost for fun and awd for the winter, I got what I wanted there. Now ive been...
Yea thats what I was kinda thinking, but just wanted another opinon or two. I search wont rev to redline and I just kept getting stuff about peoples cars bucking and fuel cut etc. I dont have any of that, car runs great, just needs a little pit of love and mods.Josh
I am having a small issue with my 2G Tsi. Im not sure how to explain it but here goes.
The car pulls out of the hole all the way up to like 4-5k, then it seems like it will take forever to get to redline, I havnt even taken it to redline, because it just seems like its going to blow if I do. It...
kenamondIt does look like the black ones that you posted are the ones that would work for both the sideskirts and the door strakes, because they have the square head on them?Is the head on the white ones round? I cant tell from the pic?Josh
Bingo! That's what I was looking for, thanks bro. Of all the info on this site,I can't believe this info was not on here, that's why I asked for a bodyshop guy. I only use zipties on my drift car and my girl. Im a huge fan of doing it right,I've done my fair share of hackjob mods when I was a...
Ya thats a great post, but I already have the holes. My car didnt have skirts when I bought it, but had the holes, its like somebody stole them off it or something. I need to reinstal mine, with some good double sided tape and the OEM style clips. Plus I bought the wrong skirts, I got the ones...
Tenzo R and MOMO are junk. When it comes to wheels, you really have to do your research and in most cases you get what you pay for. You want good rims at a good price get some RPF1s or some 5 Zigens.
You should buy a good set of wheels, they might last longer.
I wouldnt consider ADRs good. Just my opinion not trying to be a jerk off. Ive seen this problem with cheapo wheels, like ADR,sportmax etx.
Have you even tried to fix/check anything like some people are telling you to do? There isnt just one magic answer your looking for. Your going to have to do a trial and error process. Also search idle surge and you should find all the advise you need.Good luck.Josh
Put it up on jackstands and put a tiny load on it? Ha. not to safe though.Have you checked the oil feed for the turbo? The gasket on the pan for the return? Its weird because you say it only happens under load, so it has to do with something in the oil system that is under pressure. Check...
If you could, try taking a pic of were you think its coming from. Clean the engine bay with a pressure washer (be careful not to get the ign stuff to wet) then when its clean you could pinpoint the leak.
It should be fine, my car had some front end damage and was fixed before I bought it. They had the receipt and all the info from the body shop in the glove box, so I knew what was done to it.I would look at the car really good and test drive it, maybe you will see/feel something that doesnt...
Yes do that. Those RPF1s are an awesome wheel, light weight and there not expensive.
Also spacers are not a bad idea, just get the hubsentric (sp?) ones..
What do you want to know? Do you want approval from the forums/members? What width is the wheel, that would help determine if it will give you the look/stance you want. I would say a 18x8.5 +35-40 offset would look good.Josh
