I think he ment your feed source. I love that power for the bolton housing. I recently purchased sbr_joes s256 with the 362 turbine. Hope I see.ass good numbers, maybe quicker spool with my kelford 264s. Ill do my own review later this summer. Again nice numbers.
An unsprung disc on a dd? It definetly looks like the clutch slipped badly leaving that glazed look on your fw and pp. Ive never had this happen but I prefer sprung discs. Definetly need new clutch. Good luck
I am currently installing one but ett. From all the research ive done, should see mid to lower 50/lbs range with full spool around 3800_4000 depending on displacement. Sure justin will chime in if im wrong.
If your doing a 6 bolt swap, it might be easier to swap in the engine harness and ecu with the 6bolt. That way no hacking of your currant harness, and its simple enough to do yourself. I live up in ft.lauderdale, ive never done a swap before but ive only worked on 6bolts, so I can help ya alone...

Easy fix. Route one hose to where other ends. Inother words., remove either hose from heater core nipple, run said hose to where other hose ends. Remove heater core and other hose.....
You can always spend some cash and send it to swain for coating. Amazing stuff they do there. My brother had his b20 turbo mani done and you can hold your hand bout 2" away before u feel radient heat.And I couldnt tell if they were metal I apologize.
Those zip ties wont cut it. Theyll more then likely melt and your hard work will be for not. Theres a reason DEI includes metal ties. Very nice looking though good job.
As a wrecker operator, I can say the driver had no right to tow on his stinger(ie wheel lift). Its so much easier to throw it up on the bed. That driver was either extremely lazy or un trained. First thing I do at a scene is check for axels in front and back or vechil, regardless of make/model...
So like ive stated before, street im is aimed more at mid range power.... I never stated itd help with lower rpm, thats why I posted about people using stock im's to help the lower rpms. If you have to, with an hx40 stick with stock or evo 3 and a fp exhaust. Get a smim if you will rev it out...
There are people out there running stock manifolds with hx40s.... So a street is an upgrade, like I said it all a diffrence in there the torque is wanted, upper or midrange
What will the car be? Dd, weekend car, strip only? For a simple exhaust go with the bolt on housing from bep with an fp manifold. That way you dont have to pay more for a custom exhaust setup. The jmf race manifold is more geared toward upper rpm power, street aims at mid range power.
Well for a simple fix, remove the top airfitting and put in side. Fixed. And if its a tial 38 then its a big blue rated at 14.46?. Thats what was in mine at least.
I never stated jis pump was bad. I think I could be the oring that sits on the end of the water pipe that goes into the pump. Either that or since you have a 2g could be a water line running to th# ofh aka oil cooler. Post a pic, cause after antifreeze dries it usually leaves a white residue
Fast spoolin and 600hp dont really go together. Im running a bolt on BW 256 also. Great spool and if you get ett puts you over 500 but under 600, definetly a great "street" turbo.
Sounds like the o ring is bad. Decently qiick fix unless you wanna do timing belt matienve like stated above. This is suggested so you dont end up with belt failure...then its rebuild time. But again your leak seems to come from water pipe o ring just inside water pump.
You can simply get a felpro gasket kit, look for a vendor whose doing a sale on engine internals (MAP is having one right now) then get some ACL rod/main bearings, and a timing kit and you pretty much set to rebuild it. I may have forgotten a thing or two like plugs and a oil/water pump. Goodluck
I just purchased a used bw s256 in a bep bolton housingfor 600... Just had to reroute water lines and get new intake/85$. I can upgrade to tt later on too :). Look for a deal like I did
Benefits include being able t( hold higher boost more accuratly. I run a pr 02 and tial 38mm and all I did was move my dip stick a lil. And this is on a bw 256.
Well you figure e.t.s charges 100 for an intercooler- thats maybe half the total surface area of your typical exhaust, depending on exhaust size. It may be hard to find a shop with an anodizing vat that'll fit sections of pipe that big. If you can afford 100_200 it'll definetly be benifical and...
Kind of expensive, but anodizing would help dissapate heat, protect against corrosion, and help metal integrity under repeated heating. But like I said expensive process...
Ok when you can jack the car up and rotate wheel. Its either the pad sitting on rotor or dust shield if not the wheel bearing. Any movement when pushing inward on top of tire? While tire is off ground is easiest.

As long as its not a 90 I think the rest are very similar. 90s are slightly diffrent so the isc n such may not fot. Take off old tb and test fit it to be sure. Good luck
Like stated above, those "peppered" marks are more then likely compressor wheel ingestion, not detonation. If your rods cracked from them pressing the "tighter" bearing in there...well thats their doing they measuees twice.

I had the same problem. Make sure theres no short in the wire. I replaced mine only to find out it was a short. Im not sure why itd start without it though...
