Good afternoon!I have been troubleshooting an issue for a few days and could use a little help. I'm getting the error (in ECMLink) 0014 TPS Connection Malfunction, I've replaced the TPS, voltmetered the wires, changed to another ECU, then I swapped ECU's with a buddy who we verified had a...
I'm having sort of the same problem indicated in the end of this thread. Getting the error code of 0014 TPS Sensor defective. I do have a wideband spliced into the #4 sensor but the wideband isn't working. It appears that the gauge is dead. Once I cut this splice, should everything work...
That's what I was afraid of. Crazy enough we were able to get this cable to connect to his ECU one time, after that I figured it was a good cable. It never worked again after that though. We thought that we had screwed up his ECU when I couldn't connect to it again with my cable so he pulled...
I just bought ECMLink from someone on line, it came with an eepromed ECU with the red ECMLink chip in it and a cable. The cable doesn't look like the one that you can buy on the website but I'm told that it's the old model. Can anyone verify it for me? The cable has a blue end on it where it...
I know this was 8 months ago but this helped me out tremendously! The part is in the body parts section... not the motor replacement section.I got the "no longer available" when I searched for it too. You just have to navigate to fuel tank and it's under fuel hose
Here is the link stating it's professionaly built :rolleyes:eBay Motors: Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo Charger dsm td05 16g td0516g (item 190249367449 end time Sep-12-08 13:47:36 PDT)
So I did a thread search but didn't find the exact problem I am having. So I was driving normally to work today and went to pass some cars and got on it a little. It maxxed out the stock boost guage and when I got past the cars I eased up on the throttle. I went to pass the next set of cars...
This forum ROCKS!! I just locked my keys in the car and with the above information I was able to get my keys out.I was a little worried about pulling the window back but it actually worked. I was super careful in pulling the window back. Thanks DSM!
Got your PM. I like your breaker idea, I am sick of buying fuses!Yeah let's work out a day and I will drive down there and see what we can do.Thanks :thumb:
The way I have it hooked up is exactly the way it shows on the instructions that came with the sub. It says that if I have a 2 channel amp I can run both channels just like i am running two subs and just connect the connections from the amp to the sub enclosure. So positive on channel one is...
Oh and the Amp is not mounted it is just on the carpet in the trunk area. I was going to put it in the area where the spare tire goes but that didn't have enough room. I put them in the back of the trunk up against the tail lights and covered them up. I haven't looked at them since I bought...
Sorry, I wasn't trying to be rude, I just saw the last post and posted after it. I am doing this at work which is a violation of internet conduct :thumb:.I have no clue the ohms or resistance. The wiring was already there when I bought the car minus the ground wire. Here is the...
I was actually looking for a larger fuse but I couldn't find one larger than 40. Where would I get one? I was a Autozone and looked all over their electronics area.
I bought a 1990 TSi AWD with a rear driveline vibration.... took it to the driveline shop and found out that it was a hacked up FWD with an AWD conversion and all of the hardware is bolted to the TRUNK!!!!!!!!:notgood: I don't know how these things are hooked up stock but there are 3 bolts...
SONY Car Amplifier 1200 watts - eBay (item 290223021310 end time Apr-18-08 13:44:13 PDT)That's the amplifier and it has 2x40 fuses on it. I didn't get a chance to hook up the ground to a different area over the weekend but I will try to get it fixed today. I was also told that there might...
Sorry, I should have specified that. When the stereo and car is off the fuse is fine, when I turn the key on and the stereo comes on the fuse blows to the amp. Just the power line direct from the battery blow's it's fuse. The fuse is a 40 size fuse.
I used a regular bolt in the "trunk" area and scraped off the paint before I put the ground on.I haven't tried running new wires. I could maybe do it with jumper cables? Just to test?
I just bought an MTX 1100 W amp and a 1200W 10 inch MTX sub and I can't keep the power wire from the battery from popping it's fuse. It is just fine until I power on the car and then it pops. I have grounded it properly... or at least I think I have. What else could be the problem?TIA...
I took my trans apart and on the back of the 5th/reverse shift assembly?? There is a small piece that is triangular in shape with a round spot that goes through a rail looking thing.... I can't figure out which way this goes and my Haynes manual doesn't have an exploded view of it.I need to...
Resurrection!!!I am looking at one of these on Ebay and it is really inexpensive. Has anyone else tried a ProClutch kit? I have less than 200 bucks to spend on a clutch kit so that leaves me with stock or this one, unfortunately I broke my 3/4 shift fork and I am in the process of...
Another question... I pulled apart the CV at the inner boot, can I just cut off the old metal clamp and go get another clamp and just tighten it onto it or does it have to be a special type of clamp?
That is what I was worried about, they are really hard to get to! What was supposed to be an easy 2 hour job has taken me 4 hours already :). Nothing wants to come apart on this car. Thanks!!
So I am in the middle of pulling my transmission as well and I can't figure out how to get the driver side CV out. Do I have to take the bracket off that is in the middle? I got the pass side out but I pulled the cv apart in the process :(.I have both cables, and the electrical clip on...
I just had the same thing happen to me last night. I shifted hard into 3rd and it went so easily that I knew I had done something as well. It shifted into 4th but it won't go into 5th and when I put it in 3rd it doesn't go into gear. We may have the same problem so i hope someone replies. I...
