I know ohm racing makes an adapter harness but I was hopping to safe some money plus I dont think they will want to tell me
due to them selling the product which is understandable.
Ive been thing to search for the answer but no luck.
I have a 95 car what I need to wire for a 98 CAS.
I have a spare pigtail from the 98 and I know I gata invert spark wires and click on the option on ECMlink.I just cant seem to find a diagram on how to wire the 98 CAS it into the 95 harness.
thats perfect @Stapl3 its worth the risk in my opinion seen how its the hot side and worse case its only gana crack.
Thank you for finding that for me, i tried to look for something like it but only found complete turbo.
Ive been looking for a T3 hotside to put on my B16g (cause i have a nice T3 manifold).
Ive seen some ebay type turbos with it but I just want the hotside. Does anyone have any leads on one?Or could I just get away with an adapter?
I finally decided to get my 95 talon awd back to live. I have a spare motor that came from a 98 GST so i decided to drop in in the 95. I do have ECM LINK V3 in the car. I know i have to do switch the firing order. My question is, can I run the 98 CAS like i would the 1g CAS and just click the...

OH MY GOD these look amazing! i cant make up my mind on which i like more the first ones you made or the second ones. what flares did you use the first time? would you mind if i pm'd you for some advice? im building a talon and want to the same thing i just want to go through the run through...
i have a spare block i pulled out of a dsm that spun #2. (i believe it was due to stuck oil pump) last owner was an idiot. it has the oil pump attached still with b/s eliminate in it. the pistons/rods are out of it. and i believe i have an oil pan for it to.shoot me a reasonable price. text...
your wheel lip is gana hit the bar that links to the upper wishbone (i think) . i ran +42 18x8 and had that problem and also hit tire (235/40) on hard corners. you need to go lower offset like 32. put it on and with a separate jack lift the installed tire then get under and it will give you a hint.
the 97-98 are hard to find cause everyone wants them. i got two sets from the pik n pull and sold one for the amount i bought both. my advice is look at pick and pull and see if theres any talons going in in your area. if not paying 100 plus on the street is normal
if your slamed it better to go 215/40/r18 youll need like 5mm spacers in the back. i know cause i just helped my buddy do it to his 97 rs. and just so you know you can fit 18x9 on 24mm offset with 245 tires and be perfectly flush.
Fill in your profile we cant help you if we dont know what you have.
what are your goals?
why are you replacing motor?if its a complete long block then no it wont work just strait up. you have different evap/vacuum set up different tps set up. just get a 2g all your stuff will swap over...
the pivet bolt between the purple base and lever should have locktight on the lever side or else it will move no matter how tight it is on the other side.when i had mine i had to grind the bottom and use the top linkage hole. if you say it doesn't hit on the bottom then at least thats one...
honestly people will have their own opinion and i respect that. BUT. ive used an ebay o2 housing like that one (i got mine for 55) from ebay and never had fitment issues with it nor did it go bad on me in the 20k miles i used it now my buddy has it for over a year and still strong. I think its...
yup thats a misfire.just by unplugging one plug wire at a time and holding it in the cylinder wall you can see the arc and how strong it is. (thats a clue if your coils are bad or not). wear a glove for safety. if all the sparks are equally strong then you know its not your ignition...
its been a while since i did suspension on my dsm but if you are able to grab onto the rod from the bottom with some channel locks (use a peas or car hose to not scuff the shock and still get good grip... then use the wrench on the nut. but PB blaster is the thing that will help out the most.
ive been using competition clutch for over 5 years on 2 different dsms and work great and cost less than ACT. a stage 2-4 have the same pressure plate and to me the feel is not bad on the pedal but some have told me it was hard (im thinking its because they drive hondas) a stage 2 has been...
if you dont have enough imagination to just google an eclipse to see what it looks like then your already 2 steps behind haha... you have a talon so treat it like so they are harder to find than eclipses and even harder to find unmolested especially if you got the 97-98. one word of advice is...
well you need to check all your TB sensors vacuum lines and i would seafoam your engine you broadly have dirty ignition. ive had a couple cars that ran like crap just because they ether didnt gap plugs right or it was just that time for a cleaning.also clean your TB and MAF
this is like the 3rd thread ive read that involves autozone parts haha. you got a perfectly good classified section here on tuners why whould you go to autozone? check the fuse location like mentioned but also see if you have any grounding issues like the power wire got fried and is in contact...
ive done it twice on my awd talon... just paint all your non stock pipes black make sure you got stock intake and maf on with stock vacuum routing and youll be fine. having a boost gauge is not bad as far as i know (could be wrong) and as long as your tune you can run any boost you like cali...
The engine is a full 6bolt? Man i really want it now since i have extra stuff stuff needed including trans. Man let me see what i can do. I really want a dd dsm
man i really got to start checking adds more often i would have loved that trans for my new build.this shell interest me also if it does not sell by end of month i would like to look into buying it... does the engine run no problem?
i have one as well but its attached to my turbo and cant get it off as of yet... if you cover the charge for removing the two apart its yours. you just gata find a way to come get it.
like mentioned do you maintenance FIRST you be surprise how quick a stock gst is when you actually take care of it. or else dont go and bash the car when its brocken down. from there get your self a manual boost controller and up it to 14-15 psi. when it comes to intake a filter is the biggest...
actually what your looking for is the 1.8 manifold dsm cars never came with a 1.5 at leas not eclipse. and tomorrow i might be hitting up the junk yard if i find anything ill let you know :thumb:
