I noticed the light output has different distances in those two pictures as well. I would also assume the TSX have better output due to bigger lense. But nice pictures and nice mod!

The problem of using the stock housing is I need to make the shrouds myself, and some ppl suggest not to use the stock housing because the light will be scattered everywhere. I have two sets of the e46 projectors and I will probably do a retrofit in the stock housing too. Will do a comparison...

great news that they'll work.. I have an aftermarcket 17x8 rims and if w/ spacers still wouldn't work then i'll go with a 18" rims no problem. The major concern was if the brackets would hit any of the front end like other people stated in other posts.

got 260miles a tank city driving.. it's with 19psi on a small 16G, fmic, 750cc injectors and stuff... i believe it's around 21-22mpg..

I would definitly go for the S4 as they are very reliable and easy to mod. About the brakes, you can always go with PORSCHE brakes(they are bolt ons). Go for the S4, it's like your dsm with more cylinders, much more fun to drive, fun to mod, and better interior and exterior. Can't beat it right?

Have the car since 2001 Winter, put down 70k miles and a good $9000 dollars in mods and mostly to fix the broke parts on this damn car! :mad:

I got my clutch installed at the local mitsubishi dealership for 350 plus tax. 800-1000 sounds scary... you can blow that extra money to get a brand new evo16g.

I am shopping for a 4 door family car as well. I once considered the G35 as well(a very nice car), but i already found a deal for a MB c32 AMG. V6 Supercharged 349hp. Can't be the price of $25k as well. But G35 is definitly nice! :thumb:

Mine used to spool around 15psi @ 3800rpm untill it blew up on the track @ 20psi. I am not sure if it's due to the high pressure(20psi?) or it's been damaged from the previous owner, but all i can say is I will definilty not go back and rebuild this one.

Of course DSMLINK no second thought, why? Because you own a dsm and you will upgrade just like I did. But besides the upgradebility, one thing comes more important is the healthy of your engine. Why is SAFC bad? It's good to reach the same quickness and the link, but it lacks of the ability...

I just lost a turbo and i had the symptoms of a lot of white smoke, lost engine oil and i noticed my coolant was low.. I am not sure the why the coolant was low, but the exhaust did smell like the coolant at first, and it became the burning smell of the engine oil. Good luck to you!

Yes, it's a good upgrade, about 1 and 1/2 inch bigger than our stock rotors. I am also interested in doing that 4 piston conversion.

It's not just spend those money to have a cool sounding effect. 2G MAS can easily be overrun by a 50 or 60trim turbo at high boost. To avoid overrunning the stock MAS, people go with the GM MAF, venting is just one of the extra bonus.

I will use either a vice grip or a flat screw driver with a hammer and tap the bolt till it turns. I think vice grip + hammer should do it.

I would get a DSM if you want to race straight. Funny that 2 days ago, this guy owns a RX-7 decided to race me from a stop. He has a 93 twin Japanese HItachi turbos and blew his differential from the launch.. I am pretty sure a DSM can take a bit more abuse than the RX-7.
