Man, I've been patiently waiting on this to happen for what feels like forever. I can just imagine what the lead time will be once they are in production.
I've used RTM several times in the past. Absolutely a pleasure to do business with. I remember ordering my oil feed line for a holset, and requesting some oddball size orfice, and they took the time to produce that exact size for me. Much appreciated for your contribution to the DSM community!
I've been out of the DSM game for a little bit now, not the 4g game though as I picked up an Evo 8 almost 4 years ago.I started the search for a clean 2g GSX around November of 2019, which was one of the worst tasks I've done....ever. Ended up with A LOT of wasted trips and time lost due to a...
Loving the build man, you're doing a great job with everything and attention to detail!I just picked up a AWD Auto converted Spyder myself and fixing to start up a build thread. Glad to see they're still getting some love!
I'm actually in nashville Arkansas now. I lived in the Southaven MS area for around 3 years before deciding to move here. Looking to get back to a more populated area though, this living out in the sticks is for the birds. (ucwutididthur)Kei you going to pick up another DSM sometime soon?
If you have access to another ecu I'd give that a shot. Hard to trouble shoot not being there. If you can read, I'd put money on the reflash connector.
What did you change when you flashed the first time? I've bricked one due to a pin issue in my gsx, but even then it wouldn't let me read or flash. Sounds like your flash connector is faulty.
As far as myself. I've been working a lot at the new job, getting situated and all. I need to go get my car in the next couple weeks and finish her up. She doesn't lack much at all. Should be a fun street car once finished.
I got mine done in benton. Stock flywheel though, not that it matters. I just took them the step I needed it too and they got it done in a few hours for a really good price. Benton transmission I believe it was.I'll be moving back to Arkansas this weekend. I'll be moving to the Arkadelphia...
How'd she run?? Well I'll probably be parting and selling my car off here soon. Try to sell as a whole first, then go to parting. I have a ton of go fast goodies as well. Still not 100% on it yet though. Just don't have the time to put into it right now. I'll be getting an evo if so, though.
Nice L7! It's coming along nicely I see. It's been tough to work on my car seeing as I don't Have a legitimate place to actually wrench on it. Makes my motivation to do it less and less. I'll be moving here soon though and plan on either getting a storage unit or a house with a decent garage so...
I have a punishment racing t3/t4(both bolt pattern) exhaust mani. I'm not using if anyone wants to grab it. I also have a full o2 housing back 3" 2g AWD exhaust for sale available. I have some other crap for sale also. Have a clean 6 bolt block with crank available, a complete 6 bolt head and a...
I did pretty good with the stock 2g ported and an e316g internally gated. What turbo are you going with? I was running 29+psi on the 16g with the internal gate. With little boost creep and held like a rock. This was with a 3" o2 housing and 3" downpipe. Fun little setup that was. I'd always...
I've ran NB sim. on my car since I've owned it and never had any downfalls of it. This was on a innovate LC-1 and MTX-L though. Never was a big fan of the UEGO.
You should be right at decent with 550's at that boost level....for now ;) I had rc 550's running 22lbs an IDC of 90% which is optimal but still. That was with a e316g, wally 255, VRSF kit, and ECUflash.
Talonspeed why not just grab the felpro permatorque until you can do it all properly? I wouldn't slap a MLS on without having the block done professionally. The felpro will handle a lot more than you probably plan on throwing at it.Also twogeezy, upgrade time? ;)
Thank you! I was going at a pretty good pace to have it back together then kind of came to a halt. Time to get that back started I think :thumb:I appreciate it! Definitely will. I'm waiting on a few more parts so I can drop the motor in and route the tucked harness.Dude things have...
Hey guys been working a lot lately. Finally had some time recently to gather some parts and start on my build. Here's a pic of the new Turbo setup for the time being. The manifold will be getting ceramic coated here soon. Planning on going deep into the 10'sReady to put the new engine in...
Well lets do it up. My number is 870-917-7221. I'm usually free on the weekends. The GSX will be getting put back together very very soon so I think a trip to MIR is in line ;) Congrats on the job by the way kei! I actually got a very nice job doing plastic engineering.
Download the .bin, save the .xml in the eclipse folder. Try to open it and make sure it opens first. I take it your using a ecu out of a 99 gsx? The 98 gst file is far more optimal.
