Is this the first time installing a tranni? good thing you didn't turn it over the engine. if torque converter is not seated all the way, you can ruin front pump assembly.

You just have have an assistant pressing the clutch so you can roll it. make sure your shifter cable isn't broken.

When you over heat these aluminum head/ cast iron block, it's easy to warp the head. Do compression check or leak down test.

are you putting it in your 93 n/t 2.0?

It could also be idle control motor or its passage may be dirty.

I think all you have to do is change the gear in rear diffs to match the manual.

Yeh broken shift cable or broken shift fork. Try shift it manually by the transmission. Or have someone shift it while you watch the gear selector on transmission.

Does it grind going in to gears? pedal height when it engages?

Dealership or junk yard. It's not that expensive.

I woudn't mess with used radiators. 10 yr old radiators are usually plugged up. buy new from radiators.com

cutting corners will get you in trouble. Do it right the first time. get a reground crank or a new crank.

Make sure you clean the rotors with brake cleaner. apply synthetic grease to caliper bolts. I usually don't siphon fluid from reservoir unless fluid is full. if your brakes are worn, fluid level should be half full or low.

You might have frozen caliper slider bolts. Take the wheel off and hit the caliper. most likely have to remove the caliper and replace slider bolts. I had to replace my 95 talon rear calipers.
