Thanks for the update. I was going to use the 3g master and booster right awayI bought my brackets years ago and they've been sitting. If they're really not available anymore maybe this will help whoever wants to make their own set
I could have told you about that 2.5mm connector being shit. I bricked an ecu with it coming loose during a flash. I ended up soldering the reflash connector straight to the pcb inside the tactrix.@WisconsinMonSTAR make sure your injectors are scaled right and use a vanilla rom. Dont mess...
I've seen a couple threads elsewhere where someone knows someone that's done it, but I'm looking for concrete info. The wiring isn't an issue. IIRC it's 6 wires to swap over.
I'm having an issue with the engine load going to 0 when it hits 300. I have ceddymods big maps which goes up to 340, but something is limiting it to 300. There's people making more power than me, so obviously I'm doing something wrong and I can't find anyone with the same problem. Here's a...
yup. dropping maf size helped a bit. load now maxes out at 280. but that's a band aid fix. boost is going up as soon as I can get the tune stabilized. I'm going to try rescaling the maf, and if that doesn't work I'm either going SD or evo ecu.
car in question is a 99 gsx. stock black box ecu running ceddymods big maps. 2.3L. Hx35. 3" Gm maf w/ translator.once it hits around 303 load it drops to 10-30 load and once it goes down to 306 it normalizes. Has anyone ever seen something like this happen? I can understand if it ran out of...
The VW design is simple but has a problem on the diesels. Cruising on the highway builds up soot that ends up binding those vanes. The fix is an Italian tune up once a week :D
I've never used it. i have a manual. I would wire it with the brake switch through a relay. On the vw/audi's they're activated by the ecu when the map sensor reads low vacuum. There's going to be slight differences between then. It's a vane pump if anyone is curious about the internals. Vane Pumps
I was almost aborted. Even if I was, it wouldn't make a difference to me, because I just wouldn't exist. I'm sure my parents' lives would have been better. I was an oopsie baby.I definitely agree that a child could be worth everything if that's something you want, planned, and have the...
I think everyone deals with that. With my ex (me 18 her 17) there were times I was "grounded" from seeing her for a month. She'd sneak out during school. I'd buy her a prepaid phone when they took hers away. Almost had a restraining order against me. Eventually everything got better when i sent...
stay away from taurus. It's like ebay when it comes to turbo's. You might get lucky, but 90% of the time it'll be shit.My vote is for a glock 23. Damn near indestructible and plenty of aftermarket support. You can also get a 9mm conversion barrel for around $100
I just found out my head is trash, so I'm trying to salvage it. I've already cleaned it up and going to pre-heat it, but I'd like to get an expert opinion before I fubar it.The head knob on the longevity, is it clockwise for cleaning? It's been long since I've touched it
You'll need to loop or block the water lines that used to go to the big round cooler, and on the evo ofh you'll need to loop the lines that go to the oil cooler. You'll need to buy the appropriate fittings to do that
That big round thing is an oil cooler that uses coolant. You pretty much have 3 options.1. keep stock ofh and cooler, but you say it's leaking
2. forward facing ofh and block the water lines for the oil cooler.
3. evo ofh and block the water lines and loop the oil lines
Just get a forward facing ofh. That's what I'm running. It's cheaper than the evo one, and it doesn't have oil cooler ports that you need to mess with, and you don't need an oil cooler anyways, unless you're road racing.
if the bearings are preloaded properly, then a welded diff would not affect the seal.I'm having problems with the same seal. Replaced it, and it's still dripping.
