The car is currently sock and the 90 EPROM Ecu " which is Manuel awd ecu" has the stock chip and is NOT socketed, also my car is a Manuel.
And I don't have anything to log beside when I install my v3 in a while.But swapping the 2 wires don't help?

I know about swapping the two pins but has a rough idle and died, so I had the caps replaced in the 90 EPROM Ecu and still runs the same.
Do 90 ecu's not work as good in the 91-94's?

i have a stg. 3 shep trans with 4 spyder diff and upgraded shift forks.so i was driving on the freeway in my 90 gsx and i dropped down to 3rd gear going about 45-50 mph and took off boosting about 27-28 psi, and it felt great.
went into 3rd, 4th and 5th just fine.
then i coasted to the off...
it seems too much for me, i downloaded a file and well i dont wanna screw up my car.
ill have my buddy look at this stuff for me or just stick to my stg 3 chip and keep it at 12psi till i buy v3.

but it seems like it does start to knock in lower boost.
well i have the stg. 3 chip set for all my stuff and the slip says advanced timing maps.
my 880's are at 97% and my afpr is set to 37psi, so can i turn it up to 42psi without having to lean out my base lines?
my stg 3 chip is set for 40 psi but fuel trims are closer to 100% with it being set to 37.
i just need more fuel ### im running out at 20 psi on my 1g gsx

i'd be more worried about other stuff braking
my afr's are around 10.5:1 at 100% trottle.
and it is a brand new mitsu oem knock sensor installed correctly last week (it did it with the old knock sensor too), i was a mitsu technician till they got canned at my dealer and now im a gm tech.ok i just did drive and logged it and this 2nd gear...
i finally got my 1g gsx going and im running my new hx35, trans, 880's, stg. 3 chip set to 880" and so on. my mods are in my profile.so i have been watching my mmcd on my logger and all 3 fuel trims have been running about 83%.
so i have tried leaning the whole base line out and it helps...
ok a buddy has a stock gvr4 and it blowing a bit of black smoke under boost,
so its running rich and it has a 1g ecu in it and the stock gvr4 mafs,
is that why its running rich?
does it need the 1g mafs to compensate since it has the 1g ecu?
the boost leak test is good, timing (both) plugs...
the oil drain setup i bought from extreme psi for my hx35 hits my roll stop and i already cut alot off and dont dare cut anymore. :hmm:
so i was wondering if you guys could post pics of your drain lines so i can get an idea for the new line i need to make? :aha:
