whats up guys?? Im in portage actually not to far from gary. If you got any questions just give me a shout ill help ya out these cars can be a real pain once you start upgrading them but its definently worth it. For the gasket situation one thing i recommend is gettin the turbine housing...
If you are smelling raw fuel and getting spark try hookin up that scanner. Most of them even the cheap ones will give you a limited datastream crank your car and see what the o2 sensor is reading the number one o2. Granted its only a narrow band but if that thing is reading straight lean your...
all depending on how many people would be we could use my parking lot at work but that would only fit mabe 30 cars but if more i could ask around and figure somethin out i know alot of people around here
ah ok theres 2 speedways and a few video stores on central but sounds like the one at central and county line ## talkin about thats the other side of portage from me
You can ###### do the check valve method but that would just be one more part that could go bad and another chance for something to break. The dsms have this issue alot when running high boost levels do to the rings simply cannot contain the obsene amount of actual commpression and it escapes...
A missfire can also be caused by bad engine internals, incorrect sensor readout, or a bad injector. Not just an ignition isuue. There is such a broad range of problems that could cause this issue you realy need a scanner or 5 gas and know how to read the results otherwise youir just changin parts.
Wow havnt been on here lately, Was reading this over and someone stated they never heard of my turbo so i checked my page and i appologize, I made my profile at work and made a typo. It is actually a Precision 6765SP.
The rear o2 sensor only tells your pcm that the the cat is doing its job thats all. It does sound like an ignition misfire due to its backfiring. There is alot that happens to send the spark at the correct time that you realy need to have a scan tool to read. If you have access to one hook it up...
Sounds like you mayhave a wear groove on the axles. The lip on the seal can actually wear a groove in the steel. The proper way would be to replace the axle if there is unless u can find an axle saver seal which includes a seal and sleeve to go over wear groove.
Hmm well being as plexiglass is mostly a plastic material you could try flash heating it with say a oxy/ace torch or high power heat gun. You would have to be carefull to not blister it, but it would then tak on the form you need. I would like to see what your workin with if you wouldnt mind?
Translates into nothing said on this site is takin seriously unless you live with parents and have no resonsability so u can sit online allday and post 4543365 tech post. Real cute guys build a car of your own to compare to mine instead of bringing other peoples into it.
I run mine without any other gaskets or rtv and it held just fine no leaks. I did after about 100 miles retorque the nuts, and do so every so often. I run 30psi consistantly and have ran up to 45 a few times as well. But a lil rtv is a nice precaution.
No No No i wasnt claiming 195 in the quarter mile man sorry i should have been more clear on that. And the front mount is on there I just removed the center section of the steel front bumper, relocated the turn signals to the sides, moddified the light housings and Black wire meshed over the...
It sounds to me like one of a few possiblities either a pcm issue (which is unlikely) or a bad connection somewhere. Is there any drivability issues? Also check the main pcm power relay i beleive on your car would be inside the car on the passenger side of the center pillar by your feet next to...
Im sure you can do it. The plexiglass u can get cut at most hardware stores and can final cut with a razor knife by scoring it and breaking it. The hole i would just use a jig saw to cut it or a cut off wheel and a die grinder would be best if you have an air compressor.
Your first mistake was goin to autozone man. The seals they sell are not what u wana use at least not what the stores around here stock. Go to an advance auto parts if you have one they stock national seals thats what u want. And there should be a number stamped on your factory seal if need be.
Haha thats true man i have nothin but issues with mine it seems always bleeding and adjusting trying to keep it consistant. If you are needing to do it that often though u may have a leak possibly a crush washer or the all so common clutch master. As for the cable operated it would be a very...
Why not cut an access panel along the length of the box that you can remove if you ever need to change bulbs or remove and install your lights? Then you could simply install a peice of weatherstripping or slice a peice of vacumm hose in half length wise for a seal and either use nice headed self...
Yes the gaskets are the same set up as factory gaskets just plastic and thicker. They work very well i run it on mine! And i beleive all the 1g heads have the same studs and the 2g have all the same size bolt except they dont have the 2 inlarged studs at the ends.
I dont even have a stero in my car haha! And the no traction issue i can agree with for sure. Even goin down the highway at 70 80 or well above if i lay into it its up in smoke i go! I just ordered my drag radials last week hopefully that will help severly. The worst is driving in early summer...
Yea guys (and girls), like i said before i work alot thats why i havnt got any pics but i will definently try to at least get a few up tonight or tommorw. And on the rain x topic it is definently worth the hasslle, normaly when aplied correctly you dont even need to turn your wipers on!, Water...
Yea i apologize about the profile i fixed it a lil for now but will try to get more info and pics soon. I only apear as a noob because like i said i dont get on here much. I work at a car x during the week and run my own speed shop on the weekends and after hours thru out the week.
I just finaly had time to do this much today because my day job was slow. Im not on here very much so never updated anything. I will try and make some time and type in the rest and get some pics up as soon as i can.
I just find it funny that everyone thinks im bs'ing when nobody knows half my set up. Who are any of you to say what my car can and cant do without knowing the facts? I wouldnt say anything negative about any of your cars due to the fact i dont know you nor have i seen any of your cars other...
They were read and i wasnt talkin back just stating the point. Look man i aint wantin to argue i thought this was a forum for dsm people to talk and help eachother out. i have no reason to lye to anyone ecspecially on here i dont know you guys but i make one post and instantly you call me a...
its cool man didnt relize this was english classand also kind sir i never mentioned any type of street racing. This could have very well been done on a closed course enviroment so save the mouth running until you know facts please.
i built a full dash cluster for mine out of autometer guages with a 200 mph speedo and 10 grand tack plus multiple others but i raced two rockets last summer and had it at 195 and i tell u i dont care how proud u are my heart about came out my chest it was beating so fast! even the guy on the...
yea man you definently have no compression ive seen many times these things will run fine then not start and the reason was the timing belt actually was missing teath and just so happened to stop with the missing teath around the crank and therefore belt doesnt turn when u crank it does the belt...
